Tried the shrimp scampi for the first time today and it was amazing! Perfectly toasted bread paired with big, clean, firm shrimp... covered in their amazing lemon butter sauce - zesty and buttery without being salty. 5 stars for the service, but 3 for the food. I arrived for dinner at 5:30. The restaurant was empty other than the waitstaff... and kitchen crew. After being seated, I was greeted by my waiter. Overall, the waiter was incredibly attentive andpolite. The food, though, was a different story. I ordered the salmon, side of pasta, and a Cesar salad. The salad wasbrought out promptly. It was reasonably good, but it had about 1/2 cup of cheese on top. Some folks may like that, but Iremoved it. My entree and side arrived a bit later. The presentation on the salmon dish appeared very appetizing. It wascooked to medium. Most chains I?ve been to will cook salmon to medium-well to well-done if not indicated otherwise - so thiswas outside of the norm considering I was not asked ahead of time. Furthermore, the cook on the fish was inconsistent- almostwell done on the top sear and medium on the bottom sear. Regardless, the salmon tasted fresh, so not a huge issue. The biggestproblem with the salmon was that the seared portion was so incredibly salty. The sauce and broccoli were good. My first tasteof the pasta indicated that it could have been a bit warmer, but overall, the flavor was ok - and I was very hungry, so I didn?tmake an issue of it. I would give this restaurant another shot and make a few changes on how I put my order into the kitchen. Read more

First time trying here, in from Lake Charles, the hostess and waitstaff are amazing. I couldn't decide between 2 dishes and the... waitress gave me a good recommendation it was really good! Just an all around good experience for lunch. Read more

Starting off, the service is good! I loved the staff especially the to-go staff guys. The food is really amazing! It was not... overly seasoned but not bland either like other popular Italian chained restaurants. I got the classic trio which was fettuccineAlfredo, lasagna, and chicken parm. It was delicious and only costed $27. I recommend this restaurant if you are visiting inLouisiana. Read more

Delicious food! This was my first time eating at Carrabba's and my only regret is that I wish I'd tried them sooner. Cozy... environment and great wait staff. Josh was our waiter at the Lafayette, LA location and he was exceptional. Definitely will beeating here again. FYI: We started with Fried Mozzarella with fresh marinara sauce and lentils with Italian sausage soup. Ourmeals were Fettuccine with Shrimp and The Johnny Trio: Chicken Bryan, 7oz Tuscan Grilled Sirloin Marsala, and Mezzaluna! Sideof Truffle fries. Delish!! Ended with a huge slice of Tiramisu to Go! Clean restaurant, service was very good. Food came fast and as ordered. However I ordered lasagna and I could tell it wasn?t... bubbling hot which is a bad sign for something that has dense layers and surprise! After the first few bites it was from theedge I reaches a barely warm/cold area that covered most of the dish. I can?t believe a chain doesn?t have tight times and tempsto cover and doesn?t have a food temp prob to check. And I don?t send food back ever unless it?s is totally inedible. Otherwiseit wasn?t bad but could have been better if it was HOT! The Sausage and Lentil soup was plenty hot and had a great flavor andwas the highlight of the meal but it wasn?t the entree that I had my heart set on. The cannoli for desert were just average.
