Delicious food. Everything was made perfectly and tasted great. I ordered the turkey wing curry, peas and rice, mixed veggies... and the veggie patty. My mouth literally had a party! Recommend taking a visit to experience it yourself! Yum! Read more
We where going to sit down to eat, but when we got inside my mom got sick and we had to get it to go.Needless to say the staff... was awesome,and very understanding and they showed great concern for her. My brother is here visiting from Germany and hadinquired on where to get Jamaican food. I was clueless been living in Lafayette since 2017 from the Midwest and didn?t evercross my mind to find a Jamaican restaurant.Don?t have any pictures to share of our meals ,I guess because there wasn?t any foodleft.I mean not one morsel babbby that cabbage,chicken and rice was 100 fire.It could have been 2 meals. First time trying Jamaican food and I definitely will be back when that curry goat is on the menu! Not a really big place but... the flavor from the food is gigantic as it comes! Those oxtails just slid right off the bone, and I wanted to try all the sidesso the waitress Destiny hooked me up a veggie plate on the side. I was surrounded by family and we all enjoyed the food here.The owner and cook both helped bring out the orders. I recommend calling ahead if you have a big crowd dining in, and there wasa steady flow of people coming in for to-go plates. This right here is a true hidden gem! Read more

My very first time here and they didn't disappoint at all. The catfish was fried and seasoned just right. As for the rice it was... real good .... Not sticky or gummy. Every gain fell from eachother. The jerk Mac & cheese was like a party in my mouth. It wasvery good. A good twist on Mac& cheese! I will definitely be back here. Read more
Was not satisfied with my dinner. I had my food delivered. I ordered Jerk Chicken (dark meat) with steamed vegetables, rice and... peas, sweet plantains, and a side of festival (4). I will say I appreciated the restaurant contacting me letting me know thatthe restaurant was low on dark chicken and had breast. So to accommodate me they added some oxtails with the quarter chicken.But when I got my food the chicken was burnt! black! not edible and lack flavor and the festival were burnt as well. I was veryupset I spent over $30 on my meal and didn't even enjoy it. I was excited to finally eat food that was from an island here inLafayette because I am here for work from South Fl and being from the Caribbean. If I had picked it up from the restaurantinstead of getting it delivered I would have asked for my money back and not have taken the food. I will not be ordering fromhere again. Read more
