3 stars for the cost, would think they would give you more food for $42, instead the choose 2 meats you get 2 ribs and some... chicken for $18, 2 for $42 total. Service varies, they're several staff members that aren't very pleasant. That being said. I've had several of the staff treat us... wonderfully. Their food is good, however, I find it very expensive for what you get. They are very strict and limiting onportion sizes. If you want to leave full having eaten for ex. Ribs or brisket, you should expect to spend upwards of $30 perperson. Read more
Terrible service, cold food, cool touches my Mac and cheese with his finger to check the temperature. All of our sandwiches were... sent to the ?warmer? and came back cold still. Stood in line the only people in the whole restaurant and it took us 20 minutesto get served. Read more
My husband and I ate there today with our grandkids.they are Very Very unprofessional! I don't really understand what they said... the old manger did?He was a site for sore eyes! From my out look.they fired him for the owner brother to take over.From farsightseeing.He knew more then what was happening in this establishment more then any personnel in here! So I haven't tried the food yet, but it smells amazing! The service was really good too. Even with half the crew being new the... flow and atmosphere was very upbeat and inviting. If you like your BBQ on Sundays, I would definitely recommend paying them avisit. Definitely 5 stars. Read more
I just moved to Lafayette 6 wks ago and have been craving BBQ. Decided to try Dickeys on Mother's Day and boy I was... disappointed. I ordered a bbq chicken breast w/ Mac n cheese, baked potato casserole, and pecan pie. I didn't receive my pecanpie at all and the chicken was NOT bbq'd. It was grilled on the stove at best and was not tasty at all. I will not be returningto this restaurant, not even to get my pecan pie they forgot to give me. Read more
