Excellent BBQ. Not many places are open around here on a Sunday morning but this place was and it was a great surprise. Best BBQ... we've had in the south. We got the Sunday pork BBQ and the brunch bowl with smoked sausage. Both were excellent - make sure totry the spicy sauce. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. Lovely to sit on the patio with the big windows allowing for areally nice breeze. Top quality. Read more

This was the first time that I had eaten at this place. I ordered the pork plate with jambalaya and coleslaw. My husband got the... same and I got two kids grilled cheese. The barbecue was ok and their sauce was decent. The coleslaw and the jambalaya werebland and tasteless. There was no salt and it tasted like the jambalaya had been sitting somewhere for a long time it was staleand dry. The kids enjoyed to their sandwiches though. I don't think I'll eat here again. Beautiful place and I love the pulled pork stuffed cheese sandwich, especially with their delicious homemade bbq sauce. We found... them on a food tour and I can?t wait to visit this place again myself. Fun fact: The owner makes origami paper boats. My 4 yearold loved it. Read more
I ordered the brisket plate. I enjoyed the brisket. For sides, I tried the potato salad, Mac and cheese, and coleslaw. The Mac... and cheese was very tasty. I also had a boudin. Although it was difficult to eat the skin, the flavor was amazing. Of course Ihad to try the beignets but I thought they were alright. They turn into a soft, mush texture when eaten and chewed very easily.I think I prefer a chewier texture. Their customer service was also nice as they remade an order that someone in my group hadwhen a mixup happened. Read more
Pretty good. Had the Clay?s Way (Pulled Pork, Coleslaw, Extra BBQ Sauce) and a link (very tiny) of boudin. Sandwich was good. I... wasn?t blown away by any means but good. The boudin was tasty. The spices in it are great. They forgot to put the sauce on mysandwich so I had to ask for some. No big deal. They were cool about it. I plan to return and try more of the menu. Read more
Definitely worth the stop and detour on the way from New Orleans to Houston. Truly delicious and out of the world food and BBQ!... Don't forget to grab some dessert or cake to go! It was amazing. OMG!! Had the rib plate with boudin, Mac & cheese, green beans. The rib and boudin were amazing. I also got gumbo and bread... pudding.. yummy!! Highly suggest this place. But come early or they might run out!! Read more
