Friendly and sweet. The staff here is very polite. The sign on the shop is actually Karma collective so I had a little trouble... finding them. They made a delicious egg free cake and had other gluten free and vegan treats. Read more

Their cakes and donuts are always stale. They are so dry that I have a hard time even swallowing my food. It used to not be this... way. Their baked goods used to be moist and delicious, but that has changed. I really hope they can recover because I lovehaving gluten free, vegan options in Lafayette. Read more

I asked if I could sample the gluten free cake for a wedding I had asked about on the phone, and the girl working said there... were no cupcakes left but the gluten free doughnut was made from the same cake and I had to buy it. It was horrible, and Isuspected it was also vegan and she said it was. I asked, ?are all your cakes vegan?? And she said ?no.? She did not apologizefor telling me the vegan item was the same as their gluten free cakes, and did not offer me a refund, and went on to try arguewith me, saying that the gluten is the only thing that really makes things have that fluffiness. I have had gluten free cakesthat were delicious, probably because they contained dairy and egg. I then noticed they had: flourless chocolate cake that wasnot vegan, and I expressed interest in trying just a small bite of that instead, but she proceeded to cut a slice and charge me$5.00 for that. What a waste of my time and money. I just wanted to get an idea of the taste of the cake I would be ordering.Perhaps their gluten-free non vegan items are ok, but the vegan donut tasted like a bad power-bar. That?s bad that she got me tobuy it, claiming it was the same cake as the gluten free cakes, when it wasn?t. She kept her slice of chocolate fourless cake, kept my four dollars, and can throw away the vegan donut I left on the table. That?s wasnt right. Read more

$14 for a tiny vegan hot dog that should have cost no more than $4. It didn't even come with any sides or a drink. I eat at... vegan/vegetarian restaurants all the time and have never left so disappointed. Read more

Lots of variety in healthy eating. The employees were very careful with potential allergies or diets and everything is gluten... free! Had the croque Madame sandwich and the raw chocolate chip cookie and it was all delicious. Lots of local products so Idefinitely recommend this place. Read more

Cozy place, friendly staff. With vegan and gluten-free options and diabetic friendly, everything is not as it seems. The first... meeting will be ackward unless you are already a vegan! You dont know what to expect and they dont know how you willreact. Some people are afraid of things that are different. With that said, if you need a change from buying frozenvegetarian/organic options at Albertsons, this is the place. Thinking about becoming vegan or vegetarian? then let theprofressionals make you a good meal, so you can start on a good foot.Quiet, tranquil, and all around a great diningexperience. You can spot the regulars as they walk around care free which makes you feel "cool" as part of the "in" crowd. Iordered a dessert my first trip, a meatless meatball, and vegan quesadilla on my second. They were ok. Nothing to write homeabout, but what it is, is a great option. Vegan food will never, in my opinion, out "taste" anything on the market. What it willdo, is give you a guilt free meal, that you can enjoy and remind you what food from the EARTH taste like and not food from thelab. Kitchen closes at 3:00 so sorry, no dinner, but if you want to sip tea on the patio, the April breeze was beautiful. Whyam I writing this review? For someone who is 6'4 320 pounds (all muscle) lol (trust me, i didnt get this big eating carrots, iwas a certified carnivore)... i am looking to expand my mind and try the plant based options. I just dont want people to bescared to try it. Just like we may waste $50 with a bad restaurant of food we know we usually like. Ill encourage you all tobring $10, win, lose, or draw, and say...i tried it. Anyone can judge from the outside. so put your money where your mouthis. oh, and feel free to ask questions, no one will judge you. thats the best part. they dont make you feel dumb or that theyare better than you. but are here to make sure you are happy. im glad i went, and ill go back. because i want to give my bodyfood, not chem Read more
