This was the first time I've ever been in a Cajun restaurant before and it was a great experience! I'm not usually a fan of... seafood but I absolutely loved their shrimp etouffee and the gator bites! They had a live band playing Cajun music which wascool but it was a little loud for me. But I can see the appeal for others! It was very busy when we got there but the servicewas surprisingly fast and completely accurate! I definitely recommend this place! Read more

This was our second time coming here and the gator bites never make it in any of the pictures. They are THAT good! I like them... with Ranch and my husband likes the pepper jelly sauce that it comes with. He loves the crawfish enchiladas and I am a crawfishetouffee girl all the way. The pepper mac and cheese is so good it is worth a good cheat day. We have the same server and welove her to pieces. Our server was Ashley she is so friendly and on point with her job. The eggplant pirogue is now my favorite.In other words, if you can eat here you most definitely should. Read more

Well, this is the first time for my wife and myself this side of the Mississippi River and being in Cajun country. We had the... seafood stuffed mushrooms to start and they were delicious. I ordered the fried crayfish pasta Inez and my wife had the shrimp???? Dianne and we loved them both and the portions were very big. If you are looking for good authentic Cajun, this is it!!! Their food is so full of flavors and simply amazing!! Great family... friendly atmosphere. We were passing through on a Friday and there was live music. Thanks to a recommendation of a close friend.Do not pass this place up! We had the shrimp and grits, gator tail, & stuffed mushrooms. I’m the only one in my family thatlikes mushrooms, and everyone loved Prejean’s mushrooms. The corn in a pie crust is something Ive never had before and theywere incredible! Where do I start...this restaurant was everything. Our server Nick made sure that our visit was memorable. The food was... delicious and that wait time wasn't long. Came here for dinner after hearing how great the frozen cosmos were. It was quite tasty and pleasantly strong for the price.... Full menu so we defintely all ordered something different. Tried the supreme oysters. Huge disappointment. Too expensive for thesmall bites that you get, but the waitress was super understanding. The duck and tasso gumbo was perfect. My 4 yr god daughtercouldnt get enough of it And the seafood gumbo. The seafood platters were seasoned well and loaded with more than enough fries.The salad was great by itself with a generous portion of hot, seasoned chicken strips. The shrimp in the shrimp poboy was alsoperfect. I ordered the redfish dinner, which did take a while to come out, as the menu stated. The fish was a little too dry,but the crabmeat it was stuffed with helped with that. Asparagus was cooked well and the pepper jack mac and cheese was creamyand tastier than the pic looks. Cocktails were good. Chicken tender sandwich was good. The rice was over cooked and mushy like baby food. The gumbo smelled... funny. The hamburger was over sauced Mayo and mustard.
