Let me start by saying my food was delicious. The best sushi I have had in Lafayette. That being said, I went to pick up my... food, walked in and was not greeted. There were two hosts and neither acknowledged me as if I was not standing there. The threeparties of individuals to come in after me were greeted and seated or given a wait time etc. I ordered online so everything wasalready paid for which is why I did not simply leave. I then went up to a server who was bringing items to her table and askedher if she could get my online order and she did. I thanked her and I left. I have no intentions on returning because as a womanof color it is very disheartening to be overlooked. Good location, open design. Needs fresh happy faces. Waitress was the highlight and she smiled. Music was up beat. Sashimi is... good but could be treated better in preparation and storage. Bar seating are had used plates & glasses sitting for 60 minutesbefore someone bothered to remove it. It has potential. Read more

We had the spicy gyoza soup, the red dragon roll and the snow crab roll. The soup was delicious - certainly not lacking in... flavor. The spice level was mild - not overpowering but definitely something you?d notice. The snow crab roll was what Iexpected. The roll it?s self is basic as are the flavors. The red dragon roll was exactly what you would think after reading thedescription and it?s awesome. Service was quick and friendly. I would definitely go back and try something else on the menu.
