We love love love the “other” steakhouse. Salt grass was recommended by my sister in law and we are glad we went. The food... was great. I’m sure we will be back. Read more

What a fantastic lunch. My burger was cooked perfectly and I had the carrot cake for dessert. Both were amazing. Great... service too. Read more

My wife and I went here for our anniversary. We both got steak and while her's was great mine was overcooked. I sent it back and... they brought another steak that was cooked perfectly but was way too over seasoned. By this time it was time to go and I wasn'tgoing to wait for a third steak. To their credit they refunded the steak and we're apologetic. It was a little disappointing, though, as we expected a steakhouse to get steak right. Either way this won't stop us from going back but it may make uspause. We've had great experiences here in the past, though. Read more

My first time here last night and it was a bad experience. The brisket nachos appetizer was the best part of our meal. The... restaurant wasn’t that pack and the appetizer took a while to come out. Our waiter was a disaster! She kept forgetting stuffand was absent for most of our meal. The food was not all that … you can get a steak at any restaurant in lafayette. The sideswere just bland…. I could make them at home and it would taste better. And the smell in the restaurant was blah. A combinationof dingy furniture and funk. Not coming back here again. Made my birthday celebration the worst!!! I could’ve went to GoldenCorral and had a better experience! Read more

Me and my wife went there tonight and had the absolute worst experience. We sat at our table and ordered very quickly since we... knew what we wanted. After we ordered other customers were seated around us, one group was around 30 minutes after we wereseated. Everyone around us was getting their appetizers, salads and entrees well before us. All groups had their food and thegroup that was 30 minutes after us was almost done eating their steaks before I went speak to a supervisor. I was told by him amistake was made and that our order was put in only 5 minutes ago. I had been at my table and orded over an hour ago. Mad isn'ta strong enough word. I waited that long because I really wanted that porterhouse steak and to then be told I was likely goingto have to wait another 20/30 minutes for my steak I was too mad to wait any longer. You would think that since they messed upbig time that they would do something about it right? Nope. He brought me a check for my appetizer and my drinks. Bruh.....Worst. Experience. Ever....... Food was great. I had a ribeye. Cooked to perfection! Everyone enjoyed their food. Our server, Jordan was awesome! Nice... atmosphere, not overcrowded, seating and numbers of people allowed in at one time definitely met social distancing guidelines.First time there, but will definitely be going back! Read more

I really liked our Fabulous Waiter Cory. The restaurant makes a good-tasting Virgin Pina Colada. The potato ???? is something... you should try if you like soup. You will be pleasantly surprised. The 16 oz. Ribeye that was ordered was a bit chewy--probablyfrom an old ????. The servers were having a hard time knowing what tables to deliver food to the correct patrons. The Brusselssprouts were "shredded." Next time, I know to ask how this is prepared before ordering it. Usually Brussels sprouts areboiled/sauteed whole: not shredded and baked. The texture was too versatile for me to enjoy. Some of the baked pieces were hardas an old man's toe nails. I decided to try this restaurant again because my guy enjoyed the one in Houston (I didn't like thisplace since the first time). We ate there over 6 years ago, though--decided to give it another try, especially since some itemswere customed to SW LA taste buds. The soup and pina colada are not enough to bring me back here, though, and I'm sure WaiterCory will be off to a much better job that won't require him to receive tips. Read more
