Great food and even better service! Jhon was beyond stellar. They need to train whoever it is who answers the phone better. We... almost cancelled our reservation because when we asked the dress code the girl told us everyone wore suit jackets and dressesunless you sat at the bar. When we showed up it was totally casual. It would have been upsetting to miss such a great meal dueto the fact what she told us was completely untrue. Oh and if you are a Bourbon lover this is your place. My buddy loves this place. I got the turkey sandwich but they were out of turkey so they subbed it with pork and it did not... disappoint. I'm not a big fry guy but they have a good fry potentially it was the sauce that made it so tasty. Definitely hasthat earthy -hipster whiskey and craft beer bar vibe decor... Which makes sense because they do have those things. Now I knowwhy there's so many cars at this place all the time. Oh and the outdoor seating was spot on with a cool autumn day. Read more

I celebrated my birthday with my sister here at Social Southern Table and Bar. I had a mock tail made with a tangy lemonaid,... mint and cucumber. Very delicious Our appetizer was Fried Green Tomatoes with Jalapeño Ranch Sauce, Main course Smoked FriedChicken drizzled with honey, served with Sweet Potato Biscuits and Mac and Cheese. This meal was amazing! Definitely never had smoked fried chicken! Super unique flavor. Fried green tomatoes appetizer and the... sauce that came with it were amazing. The biscuits were everything I expected, macaroni was on point and the orange blossomdrink our server recommended was delicious. Great atmosphere as well and our server Shasta was very attentive. Another great spot in Lafayette, LA. I love the decor and ambience at this place. It was a busy dinner and they put me in that... littlr corner which was very comfortable. Unfortunately I was forgotten for almost 15min until the waitress final made herway. I chooses the Pilsner Beer which was actually a good one, than I proceed to shrimp with Grits and for Dessert I choosedthe Brownie. Before heading to visit family, we made decided to take a different route, so we stopped at Social Southern Table & Bar to have... lunch. The staff was friendly, atmosphere was upbeat and relaxing, and the food was great. If you are ever in Lafayette, stop bySocial Southern TB. It is a great place for couples, family, friends, or co-workers to hangout and dine together. For those thatlike to have a drink while eating, they have a big selection of wines, beers, whiskeys, different bourbon, and beers, as well asmixed drinks. We couldn’t have had a better pre Thanksgiving meal while on the road. Food was amazing! The bartender took great care of us... and gave great advice on the dishes, he even suggested to get everything in half so we can share and take home. Read more
