Food was good. Just a bit pricier than the taste. Was expecting more flavor from the tacos I had. If they were $2-$3 cheaper,... the price would make sense. Staff was nice, helpful and attentive. We were told a 20 min wait to get a table but it was like8 instead. Food came pretty quickly as well. Good location, indoor and outdoor seating. Heat lamps are on the outside patios. It's worth checking out as a small grab and go if you're walking downtown. Check it out. Read more
Very good burger served on a Martin?s Potato Roll. Nice patio, restaurant is a renovated Conoco Gas Station that was there when... I was a child. In the heart of Downtown Lafayette. All their food on menu is good and progress. The menu is fusion withsomething for everyone. Service was good and server friendly. Food came out quick. Great location with an incredible staff. Even though it was very hot out, I felt very relaxed and comfortable at this spot. Is... ample shading available on the outside porch and, while Limited, the seating indoors was actually lovely. The bartender came upwith a drink on the spot using my desired flavors for the day, and did quite well. Would definitely go back again. I lived inHawaii for quite some time and the Poke was amazing! Located in an old Conoco gas station, the Spoonbill Watering Hole is a diamond in the rough. A 2020 James Beard Foundation... awards nominee, this was easily the best restaurant I've eaten at in a long time. We started with some signature cocktails andloaded fries and knew we were in for something special. The Mrs. had the commander in beef burger, which she claimed was thebest burger she has ever had. I had the bibimbap. The red dragon sauce is absolutely delicious, it exudes the exact amount ofgustatory rhinitis needed for this dish. By the way, the old fashioned was perfectly made, and I should know, I had 3 of them!Congrats to the chef/owners on a very special place in a very unique setting. Unique menu with great flavors! The atmosphere is one-of-a-kind ? can't quite put my finger on it, but the decor and energy feel... different than many other places I've been. Service was pretty good, everything was clean, and guests seemed happy. Highlyrecommend the loaded fries appetizer with avocado cream sauce! Bibimpap wrap was also delicious! Read more
The food is good here. The prices are reasonable. The bbq shrimp was tasty. The butter lettuce salad was really good. The... bibimbap and seared tuna wraps were also good but everyone liked my commander in beef burger better than their meals. We werepleased with their dog friendly outdoor patio that had plenty of fans for reprieve from the heat. Great service too. Read more
Pretty neat location to grab a bite to eat and socialize! It's an old gas station that has been convert into an unique... experience. I got a commander burger and tuna on a toastada. This place was recommended by some local folks for authentic Cajun cuisine and it fit the bill. Food was excellent as expected,... we had the Shrimp BBQ which is somewhat a misnomer since it is not really as we think of BBQ but so scrumptious. We also had theegg rolls appetizer which was a unique taste. Setting is an old Conoco Gas station which made it an interesting atmosphere. Wesat outside and did not venture indoors so can't comment on the inside. Read more
