Visited a few times for lunch. Had a good experience every time. Staff is friendly. Have a good selection on their menu. ... Food is good. I was not a fan. I don't know how other J & J's are but there brisket had 0 Smokey taste. It was very juicy but tasted like it... came out of an oven not a smoker. There food also seemed pretty expensive. Especially considering the quality. I would muchrather drive the extra 15 minutes to go to stiles BBQ in Cedar Park giving the price. Read more
I ordered the 3 piece best ever fried chicken lunch meal with mashed potatoes and gravy and corn nuggets. Be prepared to wait... for the chicken because they make it to order. Stopped here for dinner and the fried catfish plate with green beans and tots was so delicious! It was a very generous serving... of catfish and I had some left to take home. They offer all-day breakfast, BBQ plates, burgers, fried chicken, and otherAmerican and Tex-Mex fare. Customer service was wonderful as well. 10 pieces of fried to order chicken for 11.99. Hard to believe fresh fried chicken for such a price. Of course you have to wait... 15 minutes for it to be made. The catfish was done just right with a side of tots and a slaw that wasn't as sweet as commonaround here. Owner's burger appeared to be a patty melt for a bargain price. Nachos had shredded BBQ meat rather than hamburger. I would order any of them again. Read more
