My family and I came in for a birthday dinner. We had dined here 3 months prior and had excellent service. Our server this time... was named Bryce. He ruined the entire night with his inability to serve us in a timely manner or treat us civilly in anyway. Hedid not offer us any range of waters or speak to us about the food in the slightest. After taking 10 minutes to be greeted wegot our water and he offered us wine, we asked for two glasses and he proceeded to push us on buying the whole bottle. In theend he put the bottle on the table because "that is what they do", as he said. He then walked past us numerous times speaking toand engaging with every table around us, unable to conjure up a complete sentence to say to us. We spoke to the manager and thechef/owner with only them apologizing. Bryce continued to ignore us and did not utter one word of an apology. When one goes to arestaurant like Ocean at Main they are not only going for the food but the experience as well. Although the food was deliciousand every other staff member was courteous and respectful we will not be returning due to the way in which Bryce treated us. Read more
My wife and I were looking for a nice place for an intimate dinner and thought this restaurant looked good. We were a bit... under-dressed, but we're greeted warmly and seated promptly. The service was great - friendly but not overly familiar, promptand attentive. The food was excellent! We shared the octopus appetizer on the recommendation of our server, and it was superb.My wife had the Hawaiian prawn and potato soup, and it was excellent. She thought her beet salad was only okay, but my turkeysausage pizza was very good. All in all, we thought the food was excellent, and we would definitely eat there again if we werelooking for something special. The only negative I can think of is that the wine list is pretty expensive. Read more
Thank you for bringing your talents, food and wonderful customer service to the neighborhood. Can't say enough about the... quality of the food and atmosphere. TIP, If you're a fan... add the shaved truffle to the risotto. The desserts were alloutstanding. The spice cake is a must try. Our server(Torri) was gracious and attentive. So glad Taverna is gone. This place is amazing! I went to have brunch here and it was a hidden gem. The bottomless mimosas were perfect and the Eggs... Benedict was delicious. The staff was great! Our server Tori was so nice and friendly. She helped make our brunch perfect! Read more
