First time visiting Starfish during our yearly pilgrimage to Laguna. Wish we had come here years ago. There is something for... everyone on the menu! The highlights were the Korean Tacos, Sichuan Japanese Eggplant, and Macadamia Encrusted Lobster roll.Marg was on point too! Prices are very reasonable as well. We made a reservation here for an early Mother’s Day dinner. They had a table ready with a high chair for us since we brought... our 9-month-old. We ordered off their happy hour menu (goes till 6pm I think) and got a few sushi rolls and some potstickers.Everything was yummy! The fish was so fresh and creamy. We had such a WONDERFUL lunch, today. The food was delicious, great prices and generous portions. The best part, however, was... the attentive service we received. Our server, Jesse, went above and beyond. We could tell he loved being there, and caredabout our experience. I think, from now on, this will be our go to place. Good food and warm people. UPDATE TO MY REVIEW from a ONE Star to a 5 FIVE Star: I was contacted by the manager about my review and was asked if I would... be willing to experience in-person fining and see if they could make it up to me. I booked my reservation for 6 (friends joinedus that had never been). Our most amazing waiter, Alexis (she is truly the best, we were told she no longer worked at Starfish)came to our table once we were seated (one point scored Starfish). Once we ordered food, Alexis double-checked the food ticket,double-checked food ingredients, and double-checked food once it came out!! Our night was perfect with amazing food that didn'tmake me sick, and I didn't have an allergic reaction to!! I would like to say that Starfish has redeemed themselves and has meas a customer once again! THANK YOU FOR CARING. This was a favorite place of mine, especially because they have always been socareful with food allergies. The last 3 times I have gone, I've gotten sick. Delicious!! Went with a group, the ambiance was perfect for a Saturday evening, lively music, friendly wait staff. We sat... inside. The decor is so chic and reminded me of something you would see in New York. We ordered several dishes and drinks.Everything we ordered was amazing. Amongst the group, there was not a single item that someone in the group didn’t care for.This is so rare. Absolutely recommend coming here and checking it out. Read more
This is a nice little restaurant in a strip mall in Laguna. Great interior and ambience. We had the Korean tacos, drunken... noodles, chicken satay and Vietnamese rolls. Parking is easy and the staff is very friendly highly recommend. Read more
A great choice for Asian fusion dishes. Quality and flavor, taste is great and our friends loved it too. Service needs to be... improved upon. We had to wait for a dish and drink for over 40 minutes. I guess it was just a glitch since the rest of theservice was acceptable. Read more
