Food was ok overall, I recommend getting the "little breakfast" which is a waffle, two eggs and two bacon strips. For drinks I... would recommend getting water and skip the coffee. Service was good, the waitress did keep checking on us to make sure we wereok. I got here on a Monday morning at 10am in October. I parked in the Stater Brother's parking lot level 4 which has plenty ofopen spots. Then you take the elevator down to level 1 and then you walk through the village and when you get to the boardwalkthen you make a right and walk to the entrance. I sat inside and the atmosphere was cozy with a nice view of the lake. Overallit was a clean and good place to get breakfast. It was not crowded but there were many people inside since it was cold at about40 degrees outside. You come here for the nice view of the lake and its historic nature of the restaurant. Read more

While on vacation we kept hearing from the locals that we needed to try Belgian Waffle Works, so we made the quick trip to Lake... Arrowhead and found the little breakfast spot. The location was beautiful as you can sit just feet away from the water and soakin the wonderful scenery. The restaurant itself hasn't been updated in quite awhile and has an old, small town diner feel, however, the menu options are quite the opposite and boast of exciting culinary creations. As your read the menu your mouthbegins to water as you can almost taste the deliciousness just by reading the entree descriptions. Being there with my family,we ordered our meals and eagerly awaited the arrival of our delicacies. Let me tell you, we were blown away by what was placedin front of us, not necessarily because of the appearance, but because of the way the flavors danced across your tastebuds. Itwas magical. The waffles were delicate, but also provided a punch of flavor. My daughter ordered the masterpiece known as theBoston Cream Belgian and and reveled at the beauty that rested in front of her. I ordered the Brussels Belgian, which is theirtake on a Monte Cristo, and I could not believe how delicious each bite was with all the different elements incorporated.Needless to say, the locals were right, this place is a "Must Visit". If they could just update the interior design a bit andimprove on their service this place would be a Home Run. Nonetheless, the next time we are in the area we will definitely bestopping by again. Nice views of the lake. You can sit inside or outside. We decided to sit outside and there was a lot of flies buzzing around and... birds. There isn't too much they can do about that. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and didn't really enjoy it. The gravy wassoooo bland with no flavor I had to add a lot of salt and pepper to make it edible. I rarely if ever send food back and I almostdid. The country potatoes weren't very good and lacked flavor. The other guests in my group complained about the potatoes aswell but enjoyed the waffles thus the 3 stars. The service was decent. I had to get up to ask a sever for the salt and pepperand extra napkins because our server wasn't really present at all or asking how everything was. All in all, try it out and enjoythe view of the lake. I will try something different next time. Cheers! Read more

Worst food experience EVER!!! Worst service hands down!!! The only attentive ones were the bussers. Of it wasn't for the... bussers we wouldn't have had anyone to help us. Once our waiter took our order he was nowhere to be found. NO. WHERE. Ourparty ordered the Chicken and Waffles, a side fries, Club sandwich with fries, hot cocoa, and a water no ice with lemon. Hotcocoa was not hot. Better yet it was barely warm. Water, no ice, with lemon was served with itty bitty slices with lots (I meanLOTS), of seeds sitting at the bottom of the glass. Fries were disgusting and GROSS!!! Some were hard. Some were rubbery.Ultimately they were returned due to the pure nastiness and lack of flavor. Club sandwich was the most delicious of anythingthat was served. Pretty hard to screw up a Club sandwich. The fries that came with this order were returned due to the reasonsstated above. Cole Slaw was substituted in place of the awful fries. The Cole Slaw was delicious. Chicken and Waffles wereblah. The chicken was greasy, lacked flavor, and warmth. The waffles were undercooked. They were doughy in the center. Thiswould've been sent back but after a 90 minute drive, I did not want to wait any longer for lackluster room temperaturefood. One party of our group asked for a glass of water and the waiter proceeds to ask us if we were going to share the glassthat was already at the table or if we wanted to add a glass of water to our table? What kind of queation is that? How manygroups share one glass of water with the rest of their table? Our group comes to this restaurant at least 3 times a year whenwe visit Lake Arrowhead. Ever since the new owners/managers took over this place has gone downhill faster than an Olympic Skiiertrying to out ski an avalanche. One more chance will be given and if the food and service has not improved it will be time tochange our traditional dining place. Read more

Went to Lake Arrowhead Village too early and most shops/restaurants were still closed but good thing we found this spot right by... the ferry ride entrance. They serve only breakfast (until 10:30 when most of the menu is available to order) so I couldn?torder the salad I?ve been craving ???? but I settled with getting the Belgian Scrambled plate and omg I was so happy I did! Iusually ignore the toast that comes with my bfast but this plate came with a generous amount of guacamole so I used that to makean avocado toast ???? SO GOOD! ?? Local?s tip: ask for their Spuds Spice and use that in place of just plain salt and pepper! It?ll add more flavor to your savory food. ???? Read more

It is over expectations. I picked here for our lunch. I didn't expect how good of an tourist American restaurant could be.... However, it was better than I expected and our family was enjoying it. The negative point of this restaurant was too slow. Wewait for 1 hr to get the seat while there were some empty table open. After we sat down, we wait for about 20 minutes to order.Another 20-30 minutes for the food delivery. Oh well, it was about 2hrs wait to get our food. We didn't really mind for thewait. We were here for a getaway vacation. We were good with it because the food was good and inexpensive. Read more

Yummy spot in arrowhead! Walk in and get your name on the list.. don?t wait in line! They will call out your name so you?ll need... to stay in the area. Look at the lake AFTER you sign in your name. There?s always a wait for this spot unless you come atexactly 8 (open time). The apple caramel waffles is a great choice if you like sweets! The Belgian breakfast was ok.. thesausage tasted like McDonald sausages and the country potato was a bit burnt and hard. The view was pretty though! I?d recommendthis spot if you want something sweet. Don?t recommend the savory food. I want to give it another chance when I come back uphere though. Read more
