Great visit and great pizza! I wish I could remember the servers name but she was fantastic. Last time I was there was over 30... Hostess & waiter were very nice. Nice set up. Some of the best pizza I've ever had. The dough, the cheese, the steak on the... pizza, beautiful combination. The wings were very good too. Cooked perfectly & the Buffalo wing sauce was good. They only hadraspberry tea & unsweetened tea.. the raspberry tea sucked. We paid less than $60 for a party of 3. Left full & with left oversfor everyone of us. Would recommend & will return. Read more

Pasta with meatballs makes me happy and I am very happy after this dinner. I started the meal with an order of fried mushrooms... and finished with the pasta, now it's nap time. My wife had the half slab of ribs and she described them as being very tenderand cooked to perfection. Pictures are below but don't do justice to the actual food. We arrived here near the end of the evening and they appeared to be a bit rushed/ behind. Tried the grinder but personally... didn't care for it. Would like to come back and give the pizza a chance next time I'm in town. Seems to have a family feel -so a good place to bring your kids after a baseball game. Read more
Been coming to this landmark restaurant off & on for well over 20 years now and never gets old. Not just a Lake Bluff favorite... but a county favorite and even a Chicagoland wonder. Superb all around menu with a fine beer/cocktail/wine menu as well. Thisvenue is not only bolstered by it's exceptional customer service but indeed has delicious food (especially the pizza) and a coolsports bar. The SILO is always busy whether it's flooded with takeout orders at lunchtime during the work week from customersof many nearby businesses like Abbott, Abbvie, car dealerships, etc. and any days they're open lunch or dinner. The last time I was here, I was still in College. My parents came here all the time before they moved away. We came back because... of a wedding and after driving all day, Pizza sounded pretty good. My dad suggested we go here and it was pretty good overall. I think the largest surprise for me was the thin buffalo chicken pizza. It was so great! Just the right amount of everything!Just need to find an excuse to visit family again now. Read more
