We don't have a Hardee's near us so I like to grab a burger when I see one. As I stand waiting, I'm not greeted and stand there... for several minutes until the manager sends the cashier over who doesn't seem to be focused. I ordered four double cheeseburgersand a large fry and noticed he missed ringing up a burger. Mentioning this because another reviewer had the same issue. Maybe wehad the same cashier? I've never had a bad Hardee burger until now. These were the worst burgers we've ever had from anywhere.They were barely warm, almost cold, thin and very dry. I had ketchup and could tell which were mine because they had ketchup allover the inside of the wrapper. I had to be careful eating it so I wouldn't get ketchup and mustard on me. My second one, I usedtwo napkins to wipe off the ketchup and mustard before eating it. Husband had no ketchup on his but still had to watch that themustard wouldn't drip on him. I don't think I've ordered fries from Hardee's before. When we visit family in the panhandle, wego for breakfast every morning. Otherwise I normally just have burgers. Our large fry was smaller than I expected (but thenagain, I don't think I've ever had fries at Hardee's so not sure of their sizing - definitely smaller than other places for theprice). They did not seem very fresh. I don't understand how these burgers were so bad considering it was dinner time, althoughthey were not very busy. Judging from the other reviews, we will avoid this one on the way to Lake City or the panhandle (thereis another one just down the road). The food was very disappointing. On this day. I was the last customer in the drive thur. They were closing early due to a water main issue. I sat patiently at... the window for at least 10 minutes. I understand receiving a can drink. But my fries and burger were actually cold to thetouch. Pay that much and wait that long. Food should be hot. Read more
They served "fresh" fried eggs that were molded ie green. They told me that it was normal eggs and being green/molded was just... fried. Disgusting!!! I threw out my entire order and walked out. Didn't even get a refund for it. No worries though. Tookpictures and sent them to the health department and our local OSHA division. Read more
