My fiancé ordered the pan roasted chicken. As this was a $40 piece of chicken, she expected higher quality. When she received... her order, the chicken’s flavor was wonderful but way too dry to eat. Haley, our waitress, was quick to handle the issues, anda manager came to speak with us to make things right. We really appreciated this. We asked for a remake of the chicken to giveit a second chance, and they graciously redid our order. Unfortunately, the chicken came out just as dry. I hate to give such alow rating because the staff was very generous, but the food quality was poor. Read more

We’ve been going to Vic and Anthony’s for many years. The first time we went was to the restaurant in Vegas. While staying... at the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles we had dinner at the Vic and Anthony’s there. Had the oysters Rockefeller and they werevery good. My wife’s pear blossom drink was perfect. I had the ribeye and it was delicious as usual. Cooked perfectly. Had theduck fat potatoes and they were tasty. My wife had the halibut over risotto with crab. It was fantastic. Everything wasexcellent including our server Haven. This place is always top notch. In the same league as Morton’s or Ruth’s Chris. Read more

This past weekend we ended up staying the night in lake Charles celebrating a coworkers birthday. I had surprised him by booking... dinner at Vic and Anthony’s Steak house since he told me he’d never been. The service was excellent, food was Amazing, hesaid it was the best New York Strip he’s ever had! I choose the nights special, Beef Tenderloin and blacked lobster tail, along with Au gratin potatoes and greens beans, all washed down with an d fashion. Def would recommend this place! Read more

Treated my fiance here for his birthday. It was our first time going. Would return, but only for special occasions due to... pricing. We made reservations online. I don't think it's worth it for the price when you can find equally as good food for less$. If you are looking to impress, sure go for it, but there are many LC classy restaurants that blow this place out of the waterwith their food. Spending that kind of money makes me feel forced to like their food more than I really did. Atmosphere: verydark but cozy. Most noise comes from the bar area. White table cloths and dressed up waiters/waitresses. They have tables andnice cozy booths. Service: very friendly and welcoming. Able to speak about specials and recommendations. Knowledgeable aboutmenu items. Fairly attentive. Food: expensive but was good. I did not care for their bread served at the tables because it wasreally hard. Their calamari appetizer was good- seemed to have a chili sauce with it. We also ordered medium rare steaks whichwere good, although my steak was really rare. Also ordered the mac and cheese and it was one of the best mac and cheeses I'veordered at a restaurant- creamy, seasoned and cooked well. My fiance got a baked potato and it was ginormous (like 2 potatoesworth). They offer a variety: Fish, lobster, steak, lamb, salads, caviar, pork chops, pasta, bisque, etc. Pricing: For 2 steakswith hollandaise & butter, ceasar salad, mac & cheese, potato, calamari, 1 alcoholic beverage, and 2 regular drinks it was $250. When ordering, the sides are separate charges. Read more

Having had a few amazing experiences at the Houston location, I was sad to see that things didn’t measure up the same here.... The overall service itself was great and we had no hiccups there. For appetizers, the east coast oysters tasted great, but weredefinitely much larger than I’ve had in the past. Unfortunately, our steaks and sides didn’t nearly match up to the samelevel. All of our steaks felt under seasoned, both in terms of salt and pepper (no real char at all). My medium rare actuallycame out looking almost worse than even rare - which they did correct, but still let me without an entree for an extra 5-10 min.The sides of mashed potatoes and French fries were both underwhelming as well, with the fries being pretty soggy and the mashedpotatoes on the bland side. Thankfully the entire meal ended on a high note, as the Croissant Bread Pudding did turn out asgreat as it normally does. All in all, it was a decent, but definitely unspectacular, steakhouse dining experience. Read more

My date took me to Vic & Anthony’s for my birthday. From start to finish the experience was exceptional. We arrived early for... drinks at the bar. The bartender was awesome as well as the drinks. The young lady singing live music was excellent! We decidedto stay on the bar side instead of moving to the dining room. Our meals were delicious and service impeccable. Read more

Classy & elegant, Vic & Anthony's delivers. The service and food are excellent and rival any top tier big city restaurant. With... quality comes cost. Expect to spend an average of $100 per person. My 16 Oz Ribeye was $64. Sides are separate-cost $11 extrabut is a large portion. I had Lobster Bisque as an appetizer ($13). One glass of the cheapest Cabernet ($10/glass) put me at $98(before taxes and tip). I ordered a medium rare ribeye. It was closer to medium, but I didn't complain. The flavor, cut, andtenderness was delightful. Food, service, and atmosphere top notch. Highly recommend. Read more
