Stopped here today after church. Service was great as usual. Food was NOT on point today. Usually this is our favorite Walk... Ons. I had red beans and he had the shrimp wrap. Neither of us was truly satisfied. Was disappointing as we usually loveeverything here. Suppose it was a different cook or prep cook. Either way not as good as usual. Read more
The Cajun dillas are a new twist on a classic dish! Chicken, sausage, boudin, onions all in a Chipotle tortilla with just enough... heat to truly say that it is Cajun! Update? Even though we had a great waitress the first time, the following one was terrible. 10 minutes after sitting we order... our drinks. 10 minutes after that our food. Thankfully we ordered appetizers because the food did not come out for another hour.The waitress came by 4 times all together. She neglected her tables. Once to take out drink order, next for our food, then tolet us know our food is late, and last to give us the food and our tickets (because honestly I was fed up). The food came outcold on one of the entrees. Yes, I should have spoken up, but I?m not looking for anything for free and I felt as if it was awaste of time that I already spent. We ordered a Cajun Queseaux, Veggie Burger and Lemon Butter Chicken. The burger was great, especially the bean patty it came... with had crispy edges and is natural unlike the impossibles/beyond meats. But, the Cajun Queseaux was a miss, the chips were sodry, oily and the cajun dip too, wouldn?t order again. Was said that Lemon Butter chicken was good too. Even though the starteris a miss, the Entrees covered it up. And also they provided excellent service despite visiting in a busy and closingtime. Happy to have found this place open a bit late compared to other restaurants in Lake Charles. Read more

I was a bit taken back by being sat in the dark next to the bar on a beautiful sunny day. I asked to move. The young lady... picked up our things without a word and returned us to the entrance to receive instructions on where else we could be seated....Time and their frustration would have been reduced if we'd had been asked if we'd like to sit in a particular area. Ourwaitress, however, was kind even if she tended to be not very attentive. The food was spectacular though I don't recommend thewaffle fries. They cool quickly and then aren't as good. Read more
