The sushi here is great. You will not be disappointed in the food.

Yuck, we traveled from the base to try their food we cannot eat. Been to many duty stations, and many locations and this is one... of the worst places my family has ever been to. I would not recommend it at all. What a waste of money. Update an hour later wedrove back to Lake Charles and went to another location different place, with top-notch service, you can tell the difference,the white container from Wasabi, the clear soup which made my daughter sick is in the front, and the black container is wasabishrimp fried rice with what is supposed to be shrimp could not find but 3 in the dish. the salad looked dirty just yuck and thisis what we get for trying a new place. Quick service, clean, friendly, accommodating, amazing food. I usually go two or three times a month. Can't get enough of their... food. Not overly expensive either and good quality food. Please don't hesitate. It's worth going. Read more

Went in after the lunch rush. Service was good. Food was sub par. Tasted like rewarmed buffet items. Had the hibachi chicken... and rice with miso soup. The soup was the only thing that tasted ok. Read more

There is nothing like fresh seafood. I would have to say this place has a beautiful combination of entrees and appetizers and... sushi, just to start and their drink menu is wonderful. If you're looking for something light this summer and refreshing tocool down definitely go to wasabi Japanese sushi and grill one of the best spots in lake Charles Louisiana. The portion sizesare perfect so you don't have to worry about overeating. My husband and I come here every Thursday and it is amazing every single time. Always delicious, always amazing, fast service.... Kara is the best & our favorite server here. ???? This place has impressive sushi for a fair price and has very quick service. Has not been a wait on both nights we've been there... (weekend dinner time). The menu is extensive, the alcohol is cheap (3.50 for a sapporo). The seaweed salad is very good, as arethe crab lagoon appetizers. I had the princess roll and definitely recommend it. The reason I didn't give it five stars is theatmosphere/decorations inside. The place looks kind of tacky as a whole and could really use a back patio. Kind of a minor thingbut for date nights it takes away from the embiance. Overall though I'd still very much recommend this place if you're cravingsushi. Have not been disappointed yet. Read more
