Stopped in for a couple subs and was really impressed! Tried The Godfather (Italian cold cuts and mozzarella) and a chicken... salad sub with Swiss. The bread was perfect, had some crust and chew to it but not overly hard, and the fillings were all veryfresh. This is clearly a gem in the lake city area, and could compete with the better Italian deli spots in Tampa. Well done! Read more

Big Sal!!! Wow that's a great twist on pizza. There was so much to pick from but we got the chicken Caesar salad (which was big... enough for 2-3) and the Big Sal pizza which is described as a pizza topped with a pizza. The ingredients were fresh andfantastic. The meat in this pie was spot on. I don't know if it had a butter garlic basting after cooking but man it wasfantastic. My only regret was I didn't get the chocolate cake but it looked like quite possibly the greatest looking thingever. Nice atmosphere, clean. The staff was a lot of fun and glad we found the spot on our way to Orlando. Sure wish I got thatcake... Maybe on the ride home. Read more

To be fair I really enjoyed the crust of the pizza large slices the pizza was a more artisan than a pizza hut the salad seemed... fresh but their desserts are not fresh. That seems to be an easy fix with better planning and ordering. The pie had not beenchecked and was moldy in the window the cookies had a flavor that can only be described as stale and a hint of death. Thedessert did not look like it was made there so that is why I am giving them 3 stars the pizza was good and a more unique flavor. We were traveling and made a pack to only eat at restaurants we can't find in our home state. Read more

The food is very good, the staff is always super nice, and they have the most handsome little waiter, named Meatball, to keep... you company while you eat on the patio. He definitely won't try to steal a tip from your plate... ?? Read more

I've always been a huge fan of calzones and this was the best one I've ever had, hands down. The dough was very light and it was... STUFFED to the brim with mozzarella and ricotta. I added bacon and spinach. The portion is HUGE. My boyfriend and I split oneand still had leftovers. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be going back! Read more

We had The Godfather sub and it was amazing! The bread was so fresh with a fantastic crust, there was a ton of meat piled on,... the veggies were fresh, and the buffalo mozzarella was perfect. The service was very friendly, the seating area was clean (aswere the bathrooms). Read more
