The Country Club at Lake City has had many iterations over the years. The current management does a good job of keeping the golf... course looking good and, though I haven?t been inside in a few years, the clubhouse appears to be kept up well. In my opinionthe best thing about the Country Club at Lake City is the bar which serves sandwiches daily. On Wednesdays there is a full mealoffering where you?ll get good service delivered by Johnny, a friendly server. The food is usually pretty good and you?ll dinein a pleasant atmosphere - the dining room has large windows overlooking the course. Bottom line? If you?re a golfer, I thinkyou?ll enjoy the course and a drink and/or a bite in the clubhouse. Read more

A unique track for the area of the state. Drove from Jacksonville, FL, and we were not disappointed. The course was a little wet... given all of the rain; however, the conditions were terrific. Fast greens, plush fairways, and a fantastic pace of play for aSaturday morning will make us return. Best golf course in North Florida. Johnny in the restaurant is a superb cook and Charles in the pro shop was beyond helpful.... Very nice track and is without a doubt one of the nicest golf courses I have had the privelage to play. Read more

Course is in ok condition. Greens decent...some fast, some slow. Sand traps are like concrete...not being tilled regularly, so... playing out of them is difficult. On a Thursday, restaurant closed @ 3pm. Our 4some couldnt stop for a drink or food.Disappointing after driving 1 hr each way. Read more
