Originally came here a few weeks ago on my lunch break for something quick like banh mi. To my surprise it was an old menu photo... on Google so they didn't seem to have it when I got there. However I had some time to spare and felt compelled to stay and trythe place out anyway. Upon entering the staff seemed very joyful to have customers and were very nice. It made me want to stayand eat. It seemed like a small mom and pop shop which made it feel more homey and welcoming. I tried their Bun Bo Hue and myboyfriend got their Chicken Pho. Being a seemingly small family owned restaurant, it took a few moments for the food to comeout. It's not a chain restaurant so that's to be expected, but the wait wasn't too long. We had their peach tea and mangosmoothie while we waited - both really good as well. When we got our food, the smell was amazing. The broth for both of oursoups were really delicious and tasted authentic. A taste that I find hard to get at chain pho restaurants. I find with chainrestaurants, their flavors can be lacking and sometimes bland. But not this one! Definitely will come back when I have more timeto sit down and grab another bowl! Read more
BUN BO HUE has the best taste. The combination of the rich flavor of the soup and the special chili oil create a delicious taste... that is irresistible. They also have a delicious chicken rice dish. I LOVE the SPECIAL PEACH TEA in this restaurant. Read more
I love this place!!! They have the best peach tea and are the friendliest people!!!! She always greets me with a smile and makes... sure I don?t forget my drink!!!! Because I always do lol. I took my daughter and it is now her favorite place to go! I woulddefinitely recommend this place to friends & family!!!! I always use my Google translate to help her to understand my orderbecause I wish I spoke Vietnamese. My family do enjoy this mom and pop shop. They have a very limited menu but everything is so so good. Growing up with my mom... being a central Vietnam natives, I?m very picky when it comes to central Vietnamese food but this place do not disappoint. Theirfood is so flavorful and the hot oil they made is so spicy. They sometime have different menu and we?ve tried them all. Heard great things about this place so I tried it one day. Not your typical resturant style with fancy service. It?s a mom &... pop shop type. Everything about this place is relaxed. Finally leaving a review about my recent favorite bun bo hue spot! Hue Cafe & Deli is a small mom n? pop shop that has opened... for nearly 2 years and sells great cha lua [vietnamese sausage/ham] as well. Keep in mind, their menu only has about 4 entreesand a variety of toppings which can be added to your pho ga or bun bo hue (their specialties). So, it?s a bit different fromtypical menus offered at other vietnamese restaurants, but they?re great at what they do. You might be thinking the noodle soupsdo not look as spicy nor as dark as you?re used to, but the pork&beef broth is super flavorful! Peppers and chilli oil are givenon the side, so everyone is able to customize their spice level to their liking. Their portions are great & prices range from$10-$13 a bowl. I come here at-least once a week & their service hasn?t failed me yet! The servers and food runners wear masksand they keep a good distance between customers when you are dining in. Menu is very limited, but definitely one of the best. The hue options here are all super good. Small hole in the wall that... should be a lot busier than it seems to be because of how good it is. Definitely does not disappoint. Read more
