They are so cheap with the fries. Usually they only fill them up half way. I had to wait 10 minutes for my meal once and still... only filed my large fri up half way. I was told the manager did that. The staff member even apologized for their managers stingybehavior. I will not be back. Read more
Not impressed. We stopped in for a couple of milkshakes, nothing else. We pulled right up to the window and payed. Then we sat... there for what seemed like five minutes. Finally someone opened the window and asked if we had gotten our shakes yet. We said noand then we were asked to pull ahead. There we waited almost 10 minutes. Very slow. Half of our food came out after 15 minutes and I had to prompt them for the other half 30 minutes later. I won't be... stopping here again. The new trailer parking area is nice though. Read more
Food was discustuing, service was horrible, slow, waited 23 minutes for 4 items. Had a sausage egg and cheese mcmuffin sandwich... the egg was more over easy, sausage was burnt, muffin wasn't cooked, cheese was cold. Husband's coffee was even cold as if itwas from the night before served at 9 a.m. Never again!!! Read more
If you like to wait for an exceptionally long time, get cold food, and experience the worst customer service known to man, then... this place is for you. I recommend ordering anything from the menu, so you will be forced to wait forever for literally noreason. You can be the only one in line and still wait for over 20 mins, just for a mcdouble. If you like your orders being madewith absolutely no care with what ends up in your bag, then definitely frequent this mcdonald's. If you are looking for a quickbite to eat while passing through lake city, you are better off going to one of the local sit down restaurants. You will waitjust as long and your food will be hot. Once again, lake city McDonald's has proven to be the worst location in northern Michigan. My girlfriend and I ordered a mocha... frappe and a chocolate shake, when we got to the window and they couldn't find my order in the computer. Finally found it,pulled ahead and they tried to give my 2 hot fudge sundaes. Then they gave me 2 frappe's, noting that the one with 'chocolateall over the lid and outside' is the shake. Only the 2nd time in a McDonald's in almost 15 years and was quickly reminded of "why" I stopped going there! Dirty tables &... floors and staff just standing at the register with no customers and doing nothing! My order of a spicy chicken sandwich arrivedat my table (literally just 30 feet from where it was made and delivered on a tray) and my sandwich looked like they had justrandomly thrown everything in the box and gave a good shaking! The Chicken paddy was COLD, HARD, DRY, and tasted more like"FISH" than Chicken. (so much for using separate oils)...
