The atmosphere is great, nostalgic and warm. The food was?ok. Nothing bad, but nothing outstanding either. Typical American... diner menu. The biggest let down was the pricing?. My wife and I brought our two kids, thinking it?d be a fun, new place tomaybe frequent. One kid got the (1) pancake, the other got a grilled cheese and fries. Wife and I got burgers and fries. Onepop, and two milkshakes to share. Our tab came to almost $75. I was absolutely blown away. I understand costs are inflatedeverywhere, and so too is labor?but that?s a bit ridiculous for average food. Read more

This was my first and only time going to Gorman's after driving by it 1000 + times every time we drive to Scandia. The food was... on point and the staff were friendly. My only complaint is the waitress did just completely vanish and never came back to giveus boxes or a proper send off which was weak but oh well. I didn't let it ruin my families experience. The "political" signswere a lot but at the same time I am bombarded by propaganda everywhere I go in the Cities so what's the difference? I thinkit's sad that people are this weak minded nowadays and I think we need to revert back to the old times when people had actualballs. My 2 cents. Thank you. Read more

Upon arriving at Gorman's the visitor is assaulted with the owners political perspective; it is on display and obnoxious. Once... inside the oppressive messaging relaxes but if your opinion deviates from ownership you still feel like you've entered the bellyof the beast. Menu choices are what you would expect of a 60's era dinning establishment and food was adequate service was asexpected, but not exceptional. Read more

Like stepping back in time, to my small town in northern Minnesota. Felt like I actually knew the folks for years. They noticed... my Minnesota wild goals t-shirt and thanked me for my service which was pretty cool. The omelet was great, good cheese, I askedfor the potatoes to be well done little crispy and they came out amazing. Hit them with some ranch and hot sauce and good to go.Can't wait to bring more friends back here for good old-fashioned American breakfast. Read more

Had lunch last weekend wife has celiac disease asked waitress if she could see if they fried other stuff in friers she said they... do and don't guarantee anything they made wouldn't have gluten in it. She was very rude we were just asking a question. Sheordered a omelet and a fruit bowl instead of toast or muffin because she can't eat anything with wheat in it. I ordered a clubsandwich on white toasted bread the bill came to $33. And we drank water. Waitress never came back to the table until we werefinished and ready to leave she gave us the bill and walked away without saying anything. Will never go back Read more

This is a super cute place with local nostalgia all around. The menu gives plenty of options. The service is great. You can... understand why the parking lot is always full. I highly recommend this neighborhood joint! Read more

Great service even though she was only one of three working a mid-afternoon shift. Malts were tasty, appetizers were standard... and the breakfast order was delivered as Ordered. Great pictures and signs to read while you're there. Patio seating isavailable. Read more
