Been there once upon a time long ago, it's ok if you're really hungry & there's no other choice.
Walked in and waited for an uncomfortable amount of time with no one bothering to say hello or ask if I had been helped... including the manager (older man) then after avoiding my gaze for a while finally thinks to ask if someone?s helped me out Isaid no not even a greet- before I could finish he cut me off saying someone will help you. The manager seemed pompous andunfazed. The cashier who ultimately helped me out was wonderful and quick even though the manager was demeaning to her when themachine didn?t want to work and spoke to her like it was her. This is our local Pollo Loco. We always use the drive thru. The food is usually fresh and hot. Check your order before you... leave, this location has a tendency to forget things. Other than that it is a good one. The staff are friendly and willing totake care of their mistakes. Usually the service is quick. Give them a shot. Read more
The Chicken is always good, Churros are decent BUT they seem to always Forget the Salsas you ask for! Great tasting chicken! There's a Popeyes chicken nearby but quite frankly I much prefer El Pollo Loco. The chicken ALWAYS tastes... fresh here and the folks that work there are always friendly and helpful, even when we requesting extra cilantro sauce. Greatfor family meals and very wholesome meals. This has to be the complete worst employment staff I have ever seen at an el pollo loco. Over the past 6 month. I have had now... 4! burritos That I have requested through drive-through to be lactose free no cheese or sour cream And I have received themwith either sour cream or cheese or both in my burrito. I am lactose intolerant and I explained to the lady in thedrive-through 3 times that I would like it to have no cheese and no sour cream and can you make sure it is not on the burrito. She then responded back saying "OK you want no dairy right?" I said that is perfect thank you so much. Then fast forward Iget home with my burrito and it has sour cream in it. As you can tell I was furious because it has been the 4th burrito in arow that they have messed up. I then called the manager and explained them my issue and that they wanted to refund or credit mea burrito on my next visit which is understandable if it was a first time mistake. I had explained to her my pregnant wifechicken meal and my bredow should be replaced on my next visit that would be great. She told me that she can only replace thebredow and that is it and maybe 25% off my purchase. So I explained to her I no longer wanted the food and I will be on my wayback for a refund and she explained back to me I better make sure I bring all my food if I want a refund for everything. Oncearriving to the location I recorded everything on video and I Talk with the manager about the refund and I open the bredow andshowed her the sour cream and the bredow and after explaining to her that I will reach out to corporate and I will reach out tosocial media and I will made sure my experience with this location is known just for a customer's side not the fact that Iwanted or needed anything for free and she then offered to give me the chicken meal for free.
