La Única in Lake Elsinore California is one of our favorite restaurants in the Lake Elsinore area! My daughter always orders... their Chicken Mole which is so yummy!! It's spicy and a little bit sweet & OH so yummy too eat!! ???? Lol . Muy favorite dish istheir Shrimp cocktail. I'm telling you this is the best Shrimp cocktail I've ever had!! The cucumber in it gives it a freshnessthat's unexpected! The shrimp cocktail is perfect the seasoned and spiced I mean you don't need to add anything to it becauseit's that good!! I mean, it is to die for!! ???????????? I'm not just exaggerating either!! Usually you would add like lemon andtapatio to your dish but on this one you won't have too add anything to it! It's seriously that good!! The hubby ordered theChilequlles with El pastor added instead of the Chile Verde. It was very good too! Everything here is yummy! Great service too!We are always treated good when we come here! They already know what we are going to order & just how we like it! They alsoupdated their decor! Amazingly flavorful vegan options. Forgot to photo it until I was halfway in! But excellent! Also the tofu fajitas are bomb.

My wife had menudo, I had chili verde. Hers was good, mine,,,,meh, too much lemon so it was kind of tart. I gave it 4 stars... only because the service was great and the place is very nice with a great bar as well. They had Casa Dragon's tequila which isso good,, we both had a shot.. Their menu has changed drastically, unfortunately for the worst. Everything we loved about this place is no longer on the menu.... If you're going to order a draft beer with your appetizer or meal they charge $9.00 for a pint glass ( 16 ounces ). Really guys$9. We go to craft brewery restaurants where they brew their own beer and it's only $7-$8 for a pint or a 22 ounce pour. Weloved this place at one point. We won't be going back. Read more

Went for a quick lunch today after our friends had recommended this place to us! We were not disappointed! The vibe is a little... small with a bar so I imagine this place gets packed during busy hours! Service was fantastic! They start you off with some homestyle tortilla chips and some amazing salsa! We both ordered the Cadillac Margarita; those were great! My wife ordered the Alpastor, barbacoa and Baja fish tacos and I ordered the carnitas, filet mignon (not always available) and the barbacoa! All ofthe tacos came out unique in toppings and the flavors of each protein were just wonderful! The portions are perfect size!Definitely, if you?re in old town Lake Elsinore and looking for some incredible Mexican food with an authentic flavor, this isthe jam! Can?t wait to come back! First time here for a late lunch & sadly probably won?t return. Trying to do our part and support small restaurants. Incredibly... empty, but they still didn?t get the order right. Didn?t bring my wife?s food. Only 3 or 4 tables with one gentleman behind thebar & taking orders and one additional waitress. My advice write it down. Wrong items & missed items when you?re busy ispossible. When there is no one it is just bad service. By the time my wife?s order came she had already had some of mine &filled up on chips and guac. So she just packed it right up to go. The food wasn?t bad but service was the turnoff. With so manyMexican options we will go elsewhere.
