Started out this morning with the grille closed, no drinks. Went to the range before the round, it was nothing but dirt. Only... finished the front nine after deciding to leave because the course was in such poor shape. This course could be super nice ifsomeone would actually spend the time and take care of it. Do not recommend even for a “fuck it lets just find somethingcheap”. Will not be coming back. Read more

I’ve never left a course early until we played here. Very nice club house but bar/restaurant were not open and no beverages... available to purchase. The only nice thing on this course are the tee boxes, fairways are just dirt and rocks. Very poorlytaken care of. We left at the turn when the staff told us the bartender/cook called off. Was not with even the $40 to play, willnever play that course again. Read more

The people here are very nice. Friendly and helpful. The photos you see of this course are from a life that died long ago. The... layout has so much potential and I am sure at some point, the course was gorgeous. Today, It’s clear the owners now put noeffort into this course. We renamed the course “The Dirt at Summerly.” The fairways are more dirt than grass. Everythingis as hard as a rock. The greens nothing short of abused. Many blind shots where u think you have hit a good shot, only tomove up and find the ball ran another 50 yrs in some direction and is either now lost or in a ditch. The price is right for theconditions. I’d love to play this course again if someone ever came in and put some money into it. Until then …never again. Read more

I had never played this course before, surprisingly fun. There is a drought in California, some of the fairways are very dry.... That is totally expected, the fun was the hidden hazards. It pays to take a peek ahead. Thanks! Read more

This course is in a major flood plain and designed to absorb excess runoff during flooding. The fairways are rock-hard and... barren, covered with more dirt than grass and then there are the dastardly little hidden burns that bisect the fairways thatrender your great drive a total disaster in an unplayable lie. Playing 18 holes here is excruciating, you just want it to end. There are so many other great golfing options in the area. Spend your money and time elsewhere and enjoy your round . Read more

What a bummer. The layout is fun, but this course is dying a slow death. The fairways are more dirt than grass, the water... hazards are dry except for one, and the greens are damaged badly. It's so bad I wanted to ask for a refund, but I continued onthrough each hole hoping to find a redeeming section of the course. Didn't happen, I won't be back. Read more

Aerated greens. Fairways need water. Beautiful foliage & waterfowl. Parked overnight as Harvest Host program. $3 draft beers... in restaurant. Friendly, helpful staff. ???? Read more
