Texas transplant, been looking for good barbecue in the area. I had gone to the same restaurant about a month earlier, for the... first time, during the week around 3 or so, and had an outstanding meal, some of the best burnt ends I've ever had, really goodpulled pork, potato salad , side of fried dill pickles and a drink, all at a reasonable price, just over 30$. I returned on aSaturday and was told they don't offer the lunch specials on the weekends so I was somewhat hesitant to pay 38$ for just a 2meat plate but it came with 2 sides and I had a hankering for some of those great burnt ends, so I decided what the heck and Igot the pulled pork, burnt ends, slaw and beans. The beans and slaw were really good, the pork was good, but the burnt endswere not burnt ends at all but rather just cubed bits of meat that the server told me was brisket, although to me it didn't looklike brisket. When the server came back to check on me I asked him what happened to the burnt ends? Told him what I had beengiven were not the same burnt ends I had gotten a month earlier and he told me that sometimes they are different depending onwhat they have in the kitchen. Really? I mean burnt ends are burnt ends, how are they "different depending on what they have inthe kitchen"? Boy was I disappointed, I really had my mouth set for burnt ends and that is not at all what I got, I even took apic of the plate. Most restaurants only have burnt ends until they run out, the very nature of them being burnt ends meansyou're not gonna have a lot of them... In my opinion you don't cube some brisket up and call them burnt ends... Anyway, longstory short, very very very disappointing, especially for the 40$ price tag. Read more

The service was great. I couldn't ask for better. The food, on the other hand, was disappointing. I really hate saying that, but... there it is. I had the half chicken. I expect smoked chicken to be pink. Don't let the color put you off. Having said that, mine was undercooked. I admit I like my chicken fairly well cooked. You might like it. My niece had the Monte Cristo, and ithad a fried chicken kind of coating instead of egg, and tasted of fried chicken. She couldn't eat it. I tried it. It wasstrange. The other people there enjoyed their ribs and fried chicken. The plates are large, and looked sadly empty. I haven'tbeen there since the pandemic, and I remember it differently. Like so many places, perhaps the pandemic took it's toll. I don'twant to discourage anyone that wants to give Lucille's a try. For me, it won't be my first choice for BBQ next time. Read more

We used to come here often because my daughter was a server while in school. It just wasn't as good as I remembered. The... biscuits were good but dryer and more crumbly. The baby back ribs were very good. Moist, fall off the bone tender and veryflavorful. If only they would buy their ribs at Costco they would really be meaty and then they'd be excellent. My wife reallyliked the tri-tip but I thought the meat was dry. Nut again, very flavorful. The vegetable melody and mashed potatoes wheregood compliments to the meats. Read more

I was disappointed. Portions were small for the cost. Our server was quite overwhelmed and there were several people standing... around who could have been more helpful. Both men's toilets were near overflowing and filled with fecal matter. The portionswere small for the cost, and the food was slow to arrive. I love Lucille's and have been a customer for 20+ years. My food wasgood but five bight sized pieces of meat were not what I have come to expect. My friend had the nacho's and felt robbed whenmost of what he received was chips and not a lot of toppings. I pray they right this ship and get things corrected or they willnot be in business much longer. It took an hour and twenty minutes from start to finish to order, receive, consume, and pay formy meal. I waited twenty minutes just to be able to pay the bill while two hosts chatted and could not take my payment. Read more

So so good! We don't have good bbq in Washington so when we saw lucille's and their great reviews we knew we needed to try it.... The St Louis ribs were the most tender, flavourful ribs I've ever had. The brisket, amazing. The Nashville chicken sandwich wasvery flavorful without being crazy spicy. The fries were seasoned and crisp. The jalepeno cornbread was worth the premiumupgrade. The only thing we didn't care for was the fried pickle spears. The batter falls off the pickle and it was just hard toeat. They do give you complimentary bread though which was very tasty (but honestly limit those so you have room for meat meatand more meat). These people know what's up. We went right at opening and you could tell how fresh it all was. Very muchrecommended. Read more
