A nice, authentic Italian restaurant in Lake Forest. This location is 4 minutes walking distance from Hotel Hilton Garden Inn... Irvine Spectrum Lake Forest. Today we came to this restaurant to eat lunch. The inside of the restaurant was clean and theoverall ambiance was pleasant. We ordered Fettuccine Alfredo Pasta with Shrimp and Chicken Marsala. The food was good.Fettuccine Alfredo Pasta was so creamy and delicious. Chicken Marsala was well cooked and tasty as well. Their overall servicewas good, we didn?t have to wait long to get food. Overall this is a nice place for authentic Italian food. Read more

The food was good, but not exceptional. The atmosphere was noisy and crowded.. more like Cafe, than a restaurant. Nothing... special was offered birthday event, which we informed the server about. Altogether, a mediocre dining experience. Read more

We stayed in a hotel close by and discovered this little gem. We eat here twice and enjoyed both times. Nothing fancy, however... you feel recognized and welcomed. Great service and lovely Chianti, memorable food. What also can one wish for?! Read more

This is on of my favorite local Italian restaurants in South OC. It?s not fancy or exotic but the typical Italian food is... impeccable. I never get the same thing twice so I can only recommend everything. My wife & friends who have accompanied meagree. They also have a nice robust Chianti. Definitely recommend for a casual night (or maybe lunch too) out. Read more

Loved our pizza and pasta. Felt a little lucky to get a pizza because they ran out of dough right after our order. The staff was... incredibly friendly and made our 1 year old feel like a king. Thank you! Read more

Home-cooked fare is a good way to describe what this small Italian diner offers. They know how to correctly serve pasta, so al... dente. It's a relief to have a place to go to enjoy home-cooked Italian food and happy to know that the owners have not decidedto upgrade to a nice and huge restaurant. It's not that the place is nice, it's cozy but if you are more into what you get intoyour plate this is a must. Vinny, the owner's son, is very efficient and fun to chat with, very accommodating and provideshonest recommendations. Fresh cannolis are available only on certain days, same with pizza so calling ahead of time will help.Five stars and sure will be coming back for more. Read more

My fiancee and I were recommended here by some other local foodies. Very small and cozy, small outside seating... section. Service: the service was pretty darn good. There only time service seemed to lack of you will, was when weneeded/wanted more bread. My guess is you simply have to ask. Food: We ordered the sizzling feta and tomato. Super simple anddelicious. Lots of herbs and cooked perfectly, it comes out sizzling on a platter. Chefs special lamb osso bucco style. Thiswas extremely delicious and reminded me of my mom's home cooked roasts. Everything was spot on in this dish. Minestrone: theminestrone was full of vegetables and no beans, a pleasant surprise. Full of flavor and was perfect for a chillyevening. Salted caramel cake. My goodness this called is 10 stars itself. Not overly sweet, salty homemade caramel. Absolutelydelicious. Overall I'd like to give five stars but the limited variants of pasta type a minimal wonder selection leaves just atouch to be desired. However even with this slight downside this is an amazing place to dine alone it with family. Read more
