First time trying Zesty. It’s located in a little food strip off of Lake Forest. Lots of parking. The store was very warm no... a/c running inside. The cashier was very friendly and helped us decide what to order. We ordered a Beef Plate which had rice,greek salad, humus, pita and yummy flavorful beef strips. We also ordered a matcha mango smoothie. The prices were kind of high$19+ for the beef plate. Small portion but filling for one person. Visiting from out of town and wanted something different. Had great Google rating and didn't disappoint. Super cute setup and... decor. Owners were running the counter of this freshly opened establishment. Not only did they welcome us with open arms, theymade us feel like family. They took pride in making sure our food and experience was a fantastic one. I look forward to beingable to have their delicious food again! First off WOW, I’ve seen this hidden gem for the past two months and I’ve always told myself that I HAD to go, let me tell... you all something, if you look Mediterranean food, a LOVELY environment and some delicious and healthy food (for those of youtrying to be on a diet), THIS is the place to go, I got a Chicken Bowl, a side of pita bread and a small side of homemade Frenchfries which don’t make me feel guilty eating (little oil, crunchy, never frozen, and made daily). Expecting a regular chickenbowl was a mistake, not only did I get some delicious food, but the assortment of items you can get in a box (if you ask foreverything) is mind blowing, in my chicken bowl I had vegetables, basmati rice (I believe), hummus, grilled chicken, leafygreens, bleu cheese, delicious spices and I topped it off with their delicious (somewhat spicy) salsa. Everything made me feelgood, I didn’t feel too oiled out by the food like I usually do, in fact I actually wanted to keep eating more, but becauseI’m on a diet, and the fact that they fill the box up, I could barely finish half of the entire box. I highly recommend thisdelicious hidden gem, support your local businesses and PLEASE give this place a shot. A lovely little couple made the entiredine in thoroughly enjoyable.
