What a great pub with very high quality food and excellent service. Ambiance was sports bar but kicked up a notch or two in... regards to quality of screens, audio, seating, everything. I had the 3 alarm burger and it was fantastic. Curds, better thanaverage. Same for the onion rings. Read more
Our server was Ashley and she did an awesome job taking care of all 22 of us today. She didn’t skip a beat on any order.... Everything was clean and well kept or put together. The atmosphere was great for us being able to conduct a going-away outingfor one our Marines. Thanks for allowing us to come and make loud comments and eat some great food. Read more
Love this place! I’ve tried about 90% of the food items on their menu and let’s just say the quality of the food is top... notch for a sports bar. A great environment to watch a Blackhawks or Bears game as well. Great beer selection. I ate thehandmade chicken tenders tonight and they came out amazing! Disappointing, to sum it up. We came for the car show and were quite hungry during it. We came to Chief’s Pub, and were seated... in a comfortably noisy atmosphere. We ordered from a decently large menu, which featured nice and local foods. We ordered friedcheese curds which came after a reasonable amount of time and tasted quite nice. Here’s where it got cruddy: we waited forquite a bit for our food. Our waitress came by after 15 minutes and disappointed us when walking by with someone else’s food,which happened again three times. She came again 15 minutes later saying it was being plated and finally gave us a refill onwater. Another 10 minutes pass; HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PLATE THIS. When another five minutes pass and we’re chewing our armsoff, she comes by with the food. It looks like it was put together in 30 seconds. (Menu item: 2 Alarm Burger) The burger was dryand wasn’t super flavorful and the cheese didn’t help with flavoring it. The egg on top was bland as well. The only thingsaving this burger was the ketchup bottle to the left of me, which I used close to three times. The 2 Alarms were warning me notto get it. All in all, everything was nice except the food and service. So almost everything was not good. 3/10 Everything elsemust be closed before I come back again. Read more
This is a well run locally owned restaurant. It's a great sports bar without it feeling like a sports bar. The motif is based on... a firehouse, but huge TV's are located throughout. And unlike many places, they actually had great sound! The beer choices werevery good and the food and service tremendous. Highly recommended! Read more
Very good bar food with great atmosphere. We did go at about 1 on a Friday afternoon and it was slow but food was delicious and... service was very good. Loved the decor...Lake Forest Foresters and all Chicago Sports teams minus White Sox! Also met the ownerJoe...super nice guy who made us feel welcomed. Read more
