Fisrt off, let me say this is a hidden gem. We were very pleased with the staff, ambiance, and food. We didn't have reservations... for dinner and just popped in and had a 30 minute wait. We went outside and sat on the patio and enjoyed the lake view while wewaited. I was caught up in the moment and didn't see that the receptionist texted me. They came out and found us and let us knowour table was ready. Our waitress (Amanda) was ready to serve us and brought out water immediately, let us know what the specialof the day was, and took our drink order. We ordered the Crabby crab dip for our appetizer (it was delicious). It came out withamazing fresh and hot bread and visually amazing. I order the Southern Fried Catfish and my wife order the Ribeye. We were bothvery satisfied with our meals and enjoyed every bit of it. They were plated vary well and visually stunning. We shared the BreadPudding and blown away with it as well. Kyle made sure we were satisfied with everything and we enjoyed our conversation withhim. He made us feel that we were not just a number and asked our personal feelings about our time there. Enjoyed a lively, lovely afternoon lunch with wine ???? and friends on a weekday. Our server was very good, the perfect... combination of helpful and accessible without hovering. The atmosphere is as perfect. The outdoor setting is lovely and serene,if walking a little in shade as you walk up to the restaurant. The interior is really beautiful and inviting me. You don’teven realize how many people are there because each booth has its own intimate setting. The wine was perfect and the food wasdelicious. The peach ice cream was fantastic. Beautiful place, friendly staff, fun environment. We typically come here for team happy hours. It used to be easy to pop in and... get any space available near the bar, but they have become so popular that you either have to make reservations or accept one ofthe lounge areas. My only criticism is that they could improve upon the craft beer selection a bit more. They have a few ondraft and several in bottles, but I would like to see even more since they have such a vast wine selection. Read more
First time experience and it most certainly won't be the last!! All the boxes were checked on this occasion. Upon arrival, you... find a gorgeous rustic modern building with the lake right in front. There are lots of amenities for the residents/members, butthe restaurant is open to the public and you are able to walk and peek around. The menu offers a really good variety of dishesfor different preferences, and their features specials change fairly often. I ordered the cheesy bread, brussel sprouts, andchicken sandwich. The cheesy bread was as amazing as it looked. Perfectly seasoned, cooked in a wood fired oven, and generouswith the cheese! The chicken sandwich was amazing!! The sauce was the perfect combination of sweet, savory, and a tiny hint ofspice. If sweet potato waffle fries are available, you bet I'll order them, and these were crispy and sprinkled with a delicioushouse seasoning. The brussel sprouts... Where to begin?? Cooked with bacon and drizzled with a balsamic reduction, these wereamazing even as a meal!! These, I will definitely come back for, along with many other yummy menu options. Service wasoutstanding! The hostess, the waitress, and the manager all checked in with us to make sure we weren't missing anything andshared a little about their club, restaurant, and private party room options. Such a lovely experience, we celebrated a birthday here and right upon arrival we were in awe of how everything was beautifully... decorated. Our server (Kaitlin) was so kind. The menu had great offerings. Our food was fresh and delicious. They have anexposed kitchen so you can see all the chefs working. Great atmosphere, great views, reasonably priced items. This is the first time we've experienced Region's 117. The outside of the restaurant is surrounded by beautiful landscaping and... gorgeous flowers. When you enter the building, the smells from the restaurant are incredible! We dined indoors and had suchlovely wait staff and great service. The food is amazing. We started off with a Bloody Mary and a Mimosa. I ordered the spicyshrimp appetizer. For our meals we had the short ribs chef specialty and the buttermilk chicken sandwich. I can't say I have asingle complaint. We loved everything! I'm already planning my next trip so I can bring some family and enjoy another deliciousmeal here!! Read more
Absolutely beautiful restaurant! The staff were wonderful and the food was amazing. Inside the decor is a feast for the eyes. A... giant glass fireplace sits in the center and perfect for a photo. Wood beams and artwork on the ceiling. During the warmerseason you can dine on the patio overlooking the lake. The entrance into the restaurant can be hard to find, enter and followround about all the way around till to see gate house. Signs are ry small. At gate house let them know you are going torestaurant. Follow road straight back, restaurant is on right side, the 2nd building. Read more
