We did breakfast and dinner. The food was really good. I got the platter for dinner and the tots appetizer and both were... delicious. For breakfast everyone enjoyed the food but the best were my daughters s'mores pancakes!!! So good! Read more
We were a bit skeptical about the place due to the bad reviews but ended up eating there as its the only place on premises. I'm... glad we gave it a chance! Our hostess/waitress was very nice and gave us just enough attention. She made sure we had all weneeded and we did not feel rushed. We ordered all 4 appetizers instead of a full dish. The portions were huge! Way more foodthan two people can eat for a very good price. The cheese curds were good. No different then any other place. The garlic parmchicken wings were great. The burnt ends had some fatty pieces but over all great flavor. Would definitely get those again. Thetater tots with pulled pork were also good. Read more
Burgers are good, but lack seasoning. Our waitress was not very attentive.
We were looking for a good place to have barbecue since we weren't from the area and this is where Google brought us! We didn't... realize that when we got there that it was actually inside of a water park hotel. We had a nice view of the waterpark at thetable we were sitting at. The menu was a little bit Limited so it was hard to decide what to get. We've seen that they had burntends and that's not something that we usually see on a menu so we were looking forward to trying those out, they were a littlebit fatty but they tasted great the barbecue sauce was fantastic! We also tried the cheese curds were alright but the dippingsauce wasn't that great. After receiving our check we waited about 10 minutes for the waitress to come back and take ourpayment but she never did so we ended up giving it to another waitress so that we could leave. It was an okay experience and Ireally did like the barbecue sauce but we're not from the area so I doubt that we will probably return. Read more
They?ve got you once you?re here at the resort. It?s the only restaurant so the wait is long and the prices are high. Not to... mention this is average bbq at best. The bbq/smoke flavor was very tame as if to play it safe for all the kids eating here. Ididn?t hate the ribs or the brisket but it certainly didn?t leave me feeling like I had to go back here. The best thing we hadwas the fried cheese curds but those are almost impossible to mess up. I thought the portions were very good but the highprices were in relation to other bbq spots and what I received. Our thought was that we would maximize water park time byeating here but the long wait negated that. I?d recommend going off site for better food, value and to get back in the poolsfaster. Read more
We have been to Smokey?s BBQ three times while staying at Timber Ridge. It is one of the most reasonable priced restaurants of... the two resorts. My son loves the massive Cheese Curd Brat burger, my wife enjoys the ribs and I liked the pulled pork sandwich.The chicken sandwich was just ?okay? and the Smokeys club is a bit too greasy. The brisket was alright, but It isn?t the mosttender brisket I have eaten. The fried cheese curds were good, but we weren?t a fan of the fried pickles. Only 2 tables in the restaurant, and we never got our waters... Asked twice for toasts and our waitress forgot. She was way too... entertained with all the staff talking by the kitchen. Service was terrible, I suggest a manager who is older then 21 years oldto run the place. Read more
