Came here for our anniversary dinner and they did not disappoint! Had the Cioppino and Arancini- the seafood was perfectly... cooked and the sauce had just the right amount of heat- so delicious! The Bailey’s cake was tasty as well. Great experience! Read more
This is a wonderful Italian restaurant. My wife and I came to Lake Geneva for a convention and this place was recommended by... several people. We weren't steered wrong. The atmosphere inside is very elegant and classy (I dare say romantic). The food wasdelicious: spaghetti with marinara sauce (pictured), house salad with balsamic dressing made in-house, and fresh baked italianbread with olive oil. We were looking for local vegan options and this place hit the spot. Additionally, our service was great.Our waiter, Rick, was really kind, hospitable, and professional and made us feel welcomed. It is very nice place. The decor is great. We sat at the bar to start. We then went to a table in there sun room. The service... was friendly and the food was brought out fast. Pretty good experience at Tuscan. We had a reservation at 7:15. We were told the table was getting ready but we only had to wait... a little under 2 minutes. The menus have a variety of options, which is great. However, we did have to ask for silverware butthe waiter we asked was very nice about it. Service is a little slow and water refills do take a while. Waitress forgot to giveus our bread but understandable since it was a busy New Year’s Eve night. Optional masks and mostly everybody was not wearingthem (which wasn’t really a problem for us) The pan seared scallops did not have any capers after the menu said they have themin the dish. The mixed grill special was amazing, and the pizza was ok but it was a little strange to have balsamic vinegar on apizza. If you are allergic to peas, they make a whole new vodka sauce for you, if you’re getting the vodka pasta. It tastedphenomenal. We ordered the chocolate swirl cheesecake for dessert. Wonderful atmosphere with something for everyone. From our calamari and the brick oven pizza to our seafood dishes...we loved... every bite. The scallops melted in your mouth and the cioppino had just the right amount of heat with a good amount of seafood. Read more
