Affordable food options and the portions are large. However, the coffee was a little bitter and the macchiato had too milk.
We were in town for a lacrosse tournament and we heard that the biscotti brothers cafe was good and close to where we were... staying. We had a little time before heading to our tournament so we were debating on either taking out or dining in. Thehostess assured us that we would be out of there within 45 minutes which made our decision to stay. We made sure our waiter wasaware of what was told to us and our time restriction. The waiter didn?t take us seriously and giggled. We were now 45minutes into not receiving any meal so we brought it to our waiters attention. Five minutes later, four of us finally receivedour meal, while three of us hadn?t. As the waiter walked backed into the kitchen, we were waiting for him to walk right backout and give the remaining food to our table. Ten minutes had past and our four were almost done with their food while theremaining still hadn?t received their meal. We were now worried that weren?t going make it in time to the lacrosse fields. Weasked to speak to a manger. The manager was made aware of our conversation with the hostess and our time restriction, as wellas the delay between meals within our group. His appearance looked unprofessional as his response fit it! He asked us who toldus that we would be out of there within 45 minutes as he will be ?firing? that person today! He offered no other solution and /or no apology! I am appalled by his remark about firing one of his staff members in public, as well embarrassed for him. Finally, two of us received our meal while one still hadn?t. Out of the two, the bun was not fresh and was inedible. When Itold the waiter and showed how dry the bun was, his response was ?that?s just the inside?, not, ?I?m sorry for the wait, or howabout, I?m sorry about the bun.? And, not once did he come over to see if we needed any drink refills, or anything. My husband and I were here for breakfast the Friday of the 4th of July weekend. The entire staff was moving around, all working... their butts off! Our food was fantastic! My Greek omelet, home fries and even the wheat toast were perfectly done! I was tellingour server, who was such a lovely and pleasant young lady, that where we are from, a lot of diners I have been to, the omeletsare crusty around the edges, and the home fries are burned, so this was a very nice change. Beyond my expectations! We were sorted right away and the food was delicious. The potatoes were done so well - well done with... green peppers! YUMMY! I got champagne and grapefruit juice and we also ordered a screwdriver! We will definitely be going back. Read more
We had a late breakfast here today and it was amazing!! I ordered the Nutella waffle. And did I say WOW!!! My boyfriend had the... Eggs Benedict. Came for breakfast twice during our trip last week. We appreciated the accommodating outdoor seating and the wonderful lattes.... The caffeine helped since we were on vacation with two little kids (as did the kids menu). Good food and experience. Read more
