View is a 5. Food is average bar fair. Beer selection good. Hard to beat sitting up top and looking at Lake George!
Our first visit to Lake George. We had to leave another restaurant because they never came to take our order (Lake George... Shoreline Restaurant, terrible service don't go there). Left that restaurant and went to Christie's. The waitress was veryattentive, the food arrived timely and was hot and tasted very good. We had the Hawaiian Burger, Buffalo Chicken Wrap, and HotWings. Everything was very good and the service was great. Thank you Christie's for making our first meal at Lake George anenjoyable experience and for redeeming our impression of the area based on the other restaurant. Read more
It?s rare I ever stop somewhere and feel like, as a 38 year old, that I?m too old to be there. Went there Friday night looking... to have a few drinks and maybe a small bite, we were undecided on food. We asked if we could see a menu and the bartender wenton to say that they didn?t have food at that hour (sometime between 10-11) and we said that was okay, we meant more of acocktail/beer menu. Her whole demeanor changed and with attitude she basically dropped the menu on the bar in front of us.Someone else came around and took our drink order and they were nice. There was nowhere to sit, the bar was crowded, the musicwas so obscenely loud it was nearly impossible to hear. I rarely feel out of place somewhere but that was definitely not thescene for us. We had one overpriced drink each and left. On the way out, that bartender that gave us the menu was outsideyelling at someone for whatever reason. Went there for late night drinks from about 11 p.m. - 1 a.m. and had an absolutley awesome time. Really fun atmosphere, mix of... locals and tourists. Service was pretty fast. Everyone was easy to talk to and people were dancing. Clientele was mostly peopleages 40 and under. Great location too. Something fun to check out if you're a couple or single person looking for something todo after 10 p.m. in Lake George. Read more
Enjoyed this place in the early afternoon for a late lunch. The staff was very friendly and attentive. There when you needed... them and left you alone when you didn't. I just had a salad and wished that they a better selection. The lake salad ispretty simple but good. Not as big as I would have liked, but not small either. I added steak and that was cooked toperfection. Good choice for a water front afternoon. Read more
Food was OK. The reason they lost points with me is because the waitress was absolutely awful. You are in a vibrant environment... where everyone is drinking and having a good time and the waitress had the sense of humor of a dead person. I am very big onthe customer service experience because it?s what gets me back at the table. Mich Ultra were $6 a pop and Long Island set meback $12. Great view and great seating but the waitress really didn?t help. Would I return? If I could get a differentwaitress, MAYBE, but not my first choice for sure. Read more
A fun and really cool place on the shoreline Lake George. The atmosphere is light-hearted and jovial and the food is absolutely... SUPERB!!! The lobster on my lobster roll was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the sweet chili sauce on the fresh fried calamariwas PERFECT! Read more
The wife and I have eaten here a couple of years ago when we visited and totally enjoyed our fish and chips. We visited again on... 9/07/2022 and enjoyed another wonderful meal. The fish and chips were fried to perfection. Staff was fast and courteous and eventhe pigeon sitting on the railing was well behaved. Awesome view of the lake and surrounding area. Read more
