We had a very enjoyable 1-hour boat ride today! The view of Lake George from the Minne Ha Ha is unbeatable and we also really... enjoyed the informative, and at times humorous, voiceover from the captain. The boat was full, but not crowded enough that thereweren?t great seats for all and it was very nice to have snack bars on the boat (we opted for the small one downstairs that didnot have a line). We also loved how so many people on the shore waved at the boat! We would definitely ride on one of the LakeGeorge Steamboat Company?s boats again! Read more
We did the sunset dinner cruise and really enjoyed it. Beautiful views and the tour was narrated as we cruised up Lake George.... The buffet was ok. Had the basics but I think for the price there could of been a few more options. The onboard entertainmentwas.nice. had a singer and some trivia games too. After dinner we went to the top deck to take in the amazing views. Gets alittle chilly once the sun starts to set so bring a sweater or sweatshirt just in case! Read more
They offer several cruise options which is absolutely wonderful. I really wanted to be on a minie ha ha steam boat, but the... only available for that night was a pirate sunset cruise. I'm glad i did because my kids absolutely loved it! It's probably themost popular cruise judging by the amount of people on the ship. They offer pictures package before you get on the boat but theline was so long and we were towards the end of it, not everyone got the chance to do it. It's the only thing that upset me. Iasked if the picture could be taken after the cruise and i was told no since there was another cruise after. Anyway, it was agreat time. Read more
Nice boat ride. They take a photo of each group prior to boarding which is a bit pricey ($35) if there's only a couple of... people or 1 family in your group, but for a larger group it's not too bad (it's a package that includes 2 larger photos and asheet of maybe 4 wallet sized photos and a small magnetic frame). We enjoyed the tour of Lake George and it's right across fromFort William Henry. Read more
I took the 1 hour long ride on the Minnie HA-HA but wish I took the longer ride cause it seemed like it went by pretty quick.... While you are on the boat they give you a tour and tell you about some of the local houses and hotels. Great way to seebeautiful 360 views of the lake and mountains from on the top roof deck. They sell drinks and alcohol on the boats but not muchoptions for snacks so bring your own. Read more
