The worst restaurant ever! The food was disgusting and the service was terrible. We didn?t even eat 10% of it . And worse part... they mixed chicken in completely veg curry. Rice was i dont know when rice was cooked , probably 3/4 days before . I wish thiskind of restaurant should not be open for safety of public. The owner should stop scamming people. Read more
I spent 130$ at taste of India. The food was horrible, it was all frozen and stale. Customer service was poor as well. This does... not represent Indian food at all! Read more
Unfortunately didn't read the reviews before we went in. This place is disastrous. Quality of the food is ridiculous. Straight... up get frozen food, throw it in the oven, and serve. Attitude of the owners is even worse. The only nice part is the staff. LakeGeorge is an amazing place, had a wonderful time except for this experience. Read more
As an Indian I prefer Indian food but this place is horrible forget the food the attitude of the owner is worst than the food... and on top of that they overcharge as they think they?re the only Indian restaurant here in lake George. We asked what is yourbest recommendation and she said chana masala so we order that with mutter panir and naan but I think the Chana was leftoverfrom few days and had bad smell. total of all that comes to $44 as per the menu card pricing but she (owner) charged us $60 uponasking she said it?s gratuity but as per her menu card gratuity is only applicable when you?re 5 or more people and we were just2. She starting creating a scene. all They?re trying to rip you off. They know it themself and that is why they want you to payright when you order just in case the customer lose their mind after and eating the food. the energy n food is horrible theysure lost a customer. They don?t know any hospitality as such a location like Lake George. They need to do some courses on hospitality & tourism. Theyare really creating a bad perception towards the Indian community by representing them as ?Taste of India?!And I am aBangladeshi.I?m saying this cause I?ve tried Indian food in my life a lot and Indian foods are awesome.The owner?s behavior washorrible.And most importantly they need to stop putting RANDOM masalas on their food.
