Unbelievable, a table of 8 (so a large paying party) was yelled at by the owner over 5cent container to take home cole slaw,... even poked at the woman!!! What... are reusing slaw for another table??? I saw & heard the whole thing, that owner, rude(clanking dishes at their table) unprofessional & inexperienced waitress need restaurant 101. You can't beat the quality of the food and the excellent service.
Great Jewish deli. Pickles and cole slaw come with dining in. Friendly staff and comfortable seating. Ordered deluxe burger and... was huge and juicy. Lots of options for sandwiches you can't find at other delis. Bonus is two for one coupons(dine in only) andsenior lunches. Without discounts they are a little pricey. Read more
This is the classic Jewish Deli we were looking for. The staff here was over the top, the pastrami, while not as good as some... manhattan places, still does the job when your craving it. It?s worth the trip if your looking for pastrami, corn beef, or matzoball soup. Read more
I ordered an overstuffed hot pastrami sandwich. It was delicious and came with two pickles and mustard on the side. Great place... for lunch. A little pricey but good quality meat. It was not thinly sliced like the deli. I prefer the thicker cut myself sothis was fantastic. I literally had enough to make 2 sandwiches. Plenty of parking, close to Smithhaven mall. Ordered fries with my delivery. Received oil logged soggy gross sad potato sticks. Never ever again. How hard is it to cook... fries? Couldn?t even save them with the air fryer. Horrible horrible. Great decor - nice to get good kosher deli without driving to the city. Had the deli double and it came automatically as the... lean pastrami and corned beef. Wasn't aware they offered different cuts like another recent review mentions. I chose the challahroll and liked having the option. The matzo ball soup was also DELICIOUS. As someone who has just recently started eating kosher for about a year, I think I can give a pretty honest review about the... quality of food at Zan?s. The food is absolutely amazing. I?m so happy about this, especially since it is the only kosherrestaurant in the area. I ordered the steak burger supreme well done with fries. First off this is the only place that gets welldone right. Every other place cooks the burger medium or medium well so it?s very pink inside. I also had the chicken soup whichwas perfect. The food was fresh and even the cold slaw tasted fresh with no strong after taste. Zan?s even makes their own sodatoo. It?s a really nice family oriented place and I?m so happy that it?s close by.
