I have been patronizing this establishment for over 20 years. I had breakfast here last week. When the bill arrived I was... distracted by a phone call, the sever felt the need to take all the cash I had with me. The bill was about 35.00 but the severfelt 150.00+ was appropriate. I called Sam's Place spoke to the manager explained what took place, I was told they would call meback but never did. Just another employee taking advantage of a situation. Not all the employees are this way, only takes theone. I felt violated, I will never return to this establishment again. Please watch your wallet and your money when dining atSam's Place, this was completely uncalled for. At the very least, they could have returned the phone call. I was blown away. The Food was no longer uncle Kenny standard. It was so awful. I've never seen such horrible looking corn beef... hash in my life. It was awful tasting as well. The Biscuits and gravy that they were so right on, back when ,was no longer ataste of heaven. Just Biscuits and gravy, nay. So I won't bother anymore. Too many great places in town. This is a fabulous place. I was able order what I liked in a reduced size. I hate taking food home, I would rather eat it... there. The service was fast and server was very sweet (ally). Really enjoyed breakfast. This is definitely a place thelocals know about and it doesn't get to many drive by. Would highly recommend. The food was great...nothing fancy justbreakfast. Read more

Food is good. Service is - (could have been better). Had to ask for coffee refills, water refills, kitchen were overwhelmed. I... ordered cornebeef hash with eggs and I got eggs with hashbrown with a sprinkle of cornbeef. I asked Where's my cornbeef and thewaitress said....that's it! Where the locals go. Very crowded but they are so efficient that they move you through fast and the service is quick. Bacon was... delicious. It's strange because there's no instructions when you walk in so we went to a booth and a server told us to sign in.Update: back for the third time. Read more
