Best dinner we've in a while. Thank you for a great meal and excellent service.
This dosen't happen frequently but on a couple of my visits of the years. It seems the waitress or waiters seem to be more... interested in talking in groups with each other then attending to their customers. On one particular visit our waitress nevereven approached my table for anything I needed, I eventually just went back to the line and refilled my own cup. I did leave a 2dollar tip since I'm sure she would need it rather then my normal 10 to 20 dollar tip. If she happens to read this. Do better! Read more
Loved the environment, the place was kept nice and tidy. Wait staff was very friendly and attentive to my needs. Food was... delicious and freshly made. I will be returning here again in the near future. I highly recommend having a meal here. Read more
First of all, the service was GREAT. However the food was hit or miss. Half of it was great and half was undercooked or stale.... My hamburger steak was still very pink in the center and not in a steak way. The rolls were hard as a rock which my daughterblatantly pointed out to our server who immediately ran and got us three fresh rolls. He was great!! I was just so disappointedwith the food, I?m just more of a suffer in silence and don?t inconvenience anyone type of person so I left less hungry but notsatisfied. I almost didn't go reading some of these reviews but I decided to try it out my self. I took myself and kids. At first I was a... bit overwhelmed because I wasn't sure what came with certain orders. The cooking staff was not really social or customer servicefriendly at first. Then when I said it's our first time idk what comes with what. She smiled and helped me. She was nice and thewaiter was great and very attentive. The liver and onions were very good! As well as my sides Mac and cheese and cabbage withMexican cornbread. All was great. I got some kind of green dessert with pineapples and pecans in it which taste good. I'mactually shocked the experience was so good. I guess you just have to try things for your self. It was Sunday noon and I was greeted by a customer who stood at the door because the line was already there. But the line went... smoothly, service was friendly and attentive behind the steamy plexiglass. The hardest part was choosing from the vast variety.No sooner had my meal was paid than an attendant collected my tray and escorted me to a reserved table. Luby's always has great food and many options to choose from. The staff is friendly, courteous and so helpful.
My husband and I spent our first thanksgiving as a married couple this year at the Lubys in Lake Jackson. The restaurant was... clean, the staff was remarkable, and the food was great. We will definitely be back to eat here again soon. Read more
