This is the second time I came here. The first was nice but we didn?t have a full meal? this time was likely to be the last? the... bread was warm but old. Either someone heated up an old loaf or it was frozen? took a very long time to get the waitress?sattention to bring another. It also took ten minutes for her to come back and tell us they?re out of rack of lamb. The servicewas very friendly but extremely slow. Took twenty minutes and actually getting up to leave to get and pay the bill. It looks andcosts like a really nice italian restaurant but if after a $76 check we felt we might as well have gone to Red Lobster? it wasnot a great experience. Read more
I shared with the server my dietary restrictions and she basically didn't care. My only safe choice was a steak. It was like... chewing a piece of leather! Extremely tough and no flavor. I brought it home to the dog and he had a tough time with it! Servicewas sooooo slow and there weren't many diners in the restaurant. Read more
Let me see over the last 15 years I?ve eaten dinner here quite a few times, it is a restaurant that does not fail to perform.... Everything from the staff to the food are excellent. I always look forward to what they have on special. As a sidenote this isthe type of true Italian restaurant when you go there you go and enjoy your meal for an hour and a half to two hours. Italian cuisine with that home-made touch at fair prices. Elegant ambience in a countryside setting. About four beers on draft,... and all sorts of wines, several locally sourced. Attentive waitstaff. During this review, one entrée ordered came out quiteundercooked, and the house refunded it unasked, which was honorable. Clean bathroom and lovely al fresco seating. All in all the Ambiance and the experience with the waiter and waitresses was great. My wife had gnocchi and that was good. I... ordered shrimp scampi over pasta at $27, which I wouldn't mind paying if it's what I received for dinner. What they gave me wasa Piccata sauce with lemon and capers over the shrimp. At first I thought there was something wrong but that's not usually asauce they put over shrimp especially when they say you're getting scampi. I didn't send it back because it did look good andthe shrimp were cooked perfectly so I assumed it was just a mistake. All I know the service was great. Maybe next time I'll getshrimp scampi and it will be shrimp scampi. Read more
