lunch at Whitehorn bistro on 17.9.2022.^^ view was excellent but outdoor terrace seating which I requested was closed service... was ok.. beef & bison carpaccio which we wanted was unavailable.. we had - seafood bouillabaisse beef & bison burger carafe ofwine came to CAD82 inc 10% gratuity bouillabaisse which was pretty ok taste ok with 2 prawns, 2 scallops, 4 mussels exceptit?s not really bouillabaisse more like a chowder which I don?t really like the porridge texture beef belly bacon was good,crispy onion rings excellent & bison patty ok only the bread or brioche was poor quality..not tasty like a good brioche. aenjoyable lunch & the ride up mt whitehorn & walks & views were excellent..& luckily for us today?s weather is best clearest ofthe 3 days we are here.. if taking gondola up, really must dine at Whitehorn bistro ???????? Food was good, but their service wasn?t the best. They provided us false information so that we would order food from their... restaurant. We were told that food wasn?t being served in the other restaurants below as there was a kitchen staff shortage. Webelieved them and ended up having lunch at Whitehorn Bistro as we thought we wouldn?t get food anywhere else. However afterreaching to ground level we found out that the kitchens below were functioning as normal and there was never a kitchen staffshortage! Was so disappointed! If you?re looking for a relaxing lunch away from the busy crowds, I highly recommend taking the summer gondola up and dining at... Whitehorn Bistro! The food is amazing and the portions are huge! I recommend making a reservation as that?s how you?ll get theunobstructed patio views. It is a short hike down & over from where the gondola lets you off but there is a gravel pathway andsome steps to make it easier. Definitely worth the trip! Read more
Been a couple years since I've been to Lake Louise to ski. Must have been lucky day because they were having and RBC Avion... cardholder event at the Whitehorn Bistro that was hosted by Chef Michael Smith. The food and drinks were amazing here. ShortRibs, seafood chowder, Oysters. Too bad this was only a one day event. Thank you Lake Louise and RBC. Read more
What a great experience. Spectacular views. Wonderful food. Great service from Michelle who was a delight and could not have... done a better job. All at a great price!! We booked the Chairlift with lunch and got a food credit voucher. Don't miss theCheese Fondue which is almost big enough for 4. The chairlift up and down was serene and the views while we enjoyed lunch fromthe balcony were amazing. Can't say enough about this place. 10 stars!!! Read more
I wish it was a zero star option so I could give them 0 stars. Long wait, horrible service and no vegetarian option? we got the... gondola and lunch ticket so we had no choice but to eat here. How can u run a restaurant with no vegetarian option??? All theyhave is the view I give them that but other than that will never comeback here. Read more
