Food is actually good, decent cocktails and staff is usually friendly. However there are still a few things keeping it from... being more than 3 stars for me right now. I sometimes hesitate to come here just because of the poor appearance of the Kitchenarea that is visible to the guests, I imagine the area not visible is worse! They need to do something about that especiallywhen there are tables that force guests to stare at that mess while they eat - I did not enjoy that at all. Taco Bell hascleaner views of the kitchen. Would the owners or managers of this place enjoy going to restaurant and being seated across fromthat view of a kitchen in my photo? I hope they would not. I would also recommend staying away from the "Puffy Tacos". Thefried flour tortilla were incredibly greasy, and tasted like they were fried in old oil or oil that was not hot. I had to takeall the meat filling out and push the shells off to the side. The filling inside was very good just not the shells. Again, mostof the food is very good, they serve some nice drinks, and the staff is generally friendly and attentive. The owners andmanagers just need to pay attention to some other details to make it better and take it up a notch. Read more
Anytime we're visiting / vacationing, we ASK THE LOCALS they never steer us wrong. We stopped in Lake Mary for cigars at Corona... Cigars and across the street was this hidden gem. We shared the steak & mushroom quesadilla and the bacon wrapped jalepnosstuffed with cotija cheese. Delicious and very filling. Read more
Nothing has changed since I dined here 6 months ago. Great expense. Friendly, attentive staff. Chef came out again. All threes... times I visited the Chef came out & greeted us. Food was excellent. German schnitzel. White Sangria, half off Happy Hour.Highly recommend Read more
This place has the most DELICIOUS authentic food I’ve ever tasted. I was kind of hesitant since I usually eat ground beef... mainly and saw that they only had shredded beef so I took a chance on the chicken bowl and I have never been so amazed.Everything I had was great. Fresh & authentic Mexican restaurant with great service! Our waitress was excellent. What a great welcome to Florida. This is in... a plaza, but the atmosphere feels very unique… A hidden gem! We had the Floridian and the shrimp and chorizo tacos withextremely fresh guacamole, salsa and a delicious, but simple margarita! Will definitely be back. Read more

We love going here!!! The aesthetic and vibe is euphoric! The food: quickly delivered to your table, piping hot, tastes very... fresh!! Portion sizes are well worth your money! Menus are clearly written; but servers gladly answer any questions I have. I SOappreciate the way they take extra care to alert the kitchen of my food allergies! 5-stars all around!! Read more
I’ve been to other F&D establishments but not this one. It has the same consistent quality of the rest. The Mexican decor is... more true to a Mexico City and Oaxacan vibe. I really like it. It is a little dark even for lunch but I could see okay. Weordered the carnitas and Floridian Fish Tacos. They both were delicious and had a very authentic taste. The fish tacos are niceand spicy because they have a spicy aioli sauce on top. The server did ask me ahead of time if it was okay to put it on thereand I definitely wanted it and liked it.
