So the food was really good and I?d love to try other items. The decor was super cute. Pricing was fair. My missing 1... star/complaint is needing to walk up to the counter and order; it?s not like there?s 5-10 items on the menu and just soda.There?s a huge menu and full bar they really need to sit you down and have wait staff come to the table. My first time reviewing Jimmy Hula's but I've been eating at this location for years. The food has always been very good. ... Never a complaint. Service has been up and down over the years and the decor got a bit dated. I discovered during tonight'svisit there have been some changes since I was there last. Great food, good service, and they have greatly improved the look ofthe restaurant. It's beautiful now. Especially the outdoor seating area. Sometimes they have live music. Met the ownertonight. Or more correctly, one of the owners. I've been to at least 4 different locations of Jimmy Hula's. Good food andservice is consistent at all locations but this Lake Mary location is my home base and my favorite. Check it out. Read more
First timer here, i went aunday around 230pm. I walked in and no one greeted me, no one was at the register. I had no idea if I... should sit myself, or what to do. I was almost about to leave and go somewhere else when someone eventually came to a registerand let me know to order there, there isn't much in the way of directions or anything, or menus, so I just grabbed a menu and Ijust randomly picked the Baja bowl. He told me to sit myself and gave me a number for a table, they brought my food out and itwas absolutely delicious. I wasn't sure the protocol of refills so I never did get my water refilled. But the food made up forme being confused. I'd go back maybe if I had time to research h the menu before going again. Read more

Our experience exceeded expectations. We had 3 vegetarians in our group and they had several options to choose from. The was... better than expected also. Beer selection needs overhauled , but other than that , great time. Can't wait to go back. Read more
We love this place. I love the crispy fish tacos with mango salsa and the primo fish sandwich. Oh my god. It?s so good !!!!!!... There is a burst of flavors and the awesome sauce is out of the world. The jerk chicken tacos and Cajun fries are pretty goodtoo. I love love this place. It?s always peaceful, hip and just very calming. Their bar and drinks need an upgrade and maybethat?s why it isn?t so crowded. But the food is on point. I don?t care if it?s not a fancy restaurant and I?m glad it?s not.Lol. I do not usually leave negative reviews but this evening our experience was just ridiculous. There is no adult management. Its... a Friday night. The servers are eating and playing with their hair while getting ready to deliver food which was consistentlygoing to wrong tables. The 1 kid in the kitchen was cooking with no gloves. Had to wait 30 min for 1 part of our order which wassome tacos and a burger .you would think the burger would come out last but it came out by itself and never got the tacos. Wefinally ended up going to ask for a refund as we had 2 kids we needed to get home. The 3 girls at the front had to call amanager who was trying to walk them through it while they themselves had screaming kids in the background.
