The only part of the meal that was disappointing is the parts I dropped on my shirt. lol. My friend and I split the Chicken... Fajita Pita and a flatbread pizza and they were both delightfully delicious. The staff was friendly and courteous. We sat on therooftop and it was a perfect place to catch up and share a delicious meal. Read more
We used to love Anitas kitchen. I?m not sure what happened but the portion sizes got significantly smaller. $9 for 4 mini grape... leaves? And no bread or garlic was included with our takeout order. We will not be coming back here anytime soon. Seems they aretrying to cut as many corners as possible to save money. Read more
Very dissatisfied with the cost/portions. The photos show, supposedly, portions for 5. The beef looks like for 3. I called... and they explained since beef is more expensive, you get a smaller portion for beef...huh? So people who eat beef don't eat asmuch?. Charge me more, and give me an appropriate portion. Edit, changed my star review from 3-4 because they took the time to reply, although in their words it was a kinda harsh reply,... back. I'll email them as they requested. First off I'm dinging them 2 stars soley for the take out containers. I order to-gofrom here on the regular and their containers while eco friendly suck for the type of food going in them. Barely make it to myhouse before becoming soggy and unholdable. If I have any leftovers I have to put them into another container otherwise all themoisture is sucked out of the food. I love the food and order it almost every week, but I'm sick of the containers. Service isalways great. They work well with doordash. I've got no complaints. I'd be a 5 star review in a heartbeat if they changed theway they sent their meals to go. It's 2022 and no longer the doggy bag, people are eating meals at home and expect thepresentation to be acceptable at minimum. Please! I'll even do the legwork and source an eco friendly option that holds up toyour style of food and is comparable in price for you, just reach out to me. Read more
The vegetarian plate was fantastic. Good sized and lots of delicious vegan and gluten free options.
To start this I have to give great appreciation for Anita in respect to the longevity of the business and the love of her... family. I know this, because years ago when the Troy location provided exceptional service and quality of product, I was a veryfrequent patron and enjoyed my time with the family there nearly every day. This being said... ...I am disappointed with whatthis has now become. The recipes have changed, the quality has diminished and the service, well the service is still quitedecent. Greeted kindly every time although this is not enough and I will not be returning any further as since the new locationin Orion, I have tried nearly a dozen times on account of my fond memories only to be let down with each experience. In short,horrible quality foods prepared improperly for extremely high prices. Prices do not reflect the quality OR quantity. No depth orbreath to this company anymore. Such a shame especially in this day of so many of us seeking decent Mediterranean diets. Read more
