We are brunch regulars at this spot! We drive 2 hours to get here just for brunch sometimes. The food is DELICIOUS and usually... consistent. The service varies but it?s never bad. Ate here while passing through the area, first impression was the parking lot was difficult to navigate (i watched several other... patrons make the same mistake while i was dining) But once I finally parked and found the front door the ambiance inside wasjust what i was looking for. My server Emma (?) was nice and efficient at her job. I didn't care much for their craft beers,which is unfortunate because they brew them in house and I had a nice time watching their brewmasters at work. For my meal Ihad the "You wanna Pita this?" With tater tots. It came out super fast. The tater tots were amazing but the pita was lacking inconsistency, so I put the tater tots on it for a crunch. I also got the Vegan Korean BBQ Chicken Pizza Togo and it was amazing!One of the best Vegan Pizza's I've ever had, would highly recommend. 4 stars because of the difficult parking, the beers notbeing to my taste, and the pita wile being good in flavor not good in texture. Here is where I lost my whole paycheck and gained 50 lbs. All I can say is cinnamon roll, bacon, fried egg, and spicy mayo. I?m... glad I don?t live local because I would be unrecognizable due the the deliciousness of the ?The Hangover? on Sunday brunch. Byfar the best breakfast in Lake Placid. Oh yeah hey have beer and if you can?t decide what goes best with it, just get the flightand you won?t have decision paralysis. Wow.. best vegan gluten free pizza I've ever had. Mind blown. Even my partner that doesn't really eat vegan cheese absolutely... loved it. Highly recommend to everyone in the area! This menu is filled with so many good options, and the atmosphere isfantastic too! Read more

I can't recommend Big Slide enough! We were visiting from out of town and happened upon it by chance and I'm so glad we did!!... The atmosphere is chill but classy, the staff is wonderful, and the brews and food are out of this world!! Their flights havesuch a great variety, and when I tell you their steak with peppercorn sauce is the best steak I've ever had in my life... omg. Ithink I'll dream of it forever. Came here for brunch, service was really good and the food was amazing. I had ordered the "rise and swine" breakfast pizza. I... highly recommend it. Pizza made love to a quiche and only but the positive qualities of both dishes transferred to it'soffspring. The breakfast burrito is also quite good as well. Fantastic Food! Our family stopped at Big Slide for lunch and some beers on Labor day 2021. We always stop at local breweries... when traveling, and Big Slide is definitely one of our favorites. We chose crowlers after sampling flights. Our meals wereabsolutely delicious. DO NOT MISS this unique menu. See pictures.
