Crab cakes tasted good. Tuna poke was terrible. Over seasoned, maybe to hide freshness. It was also mushy, not a good sign. Ate... at the bar, and service was surly at best. Christine announced when we arrived that they were backed up on the kitchen, which isgood to know. But our food came out fast. She barked at a few other customers who wanted to pick up their food. Food was pretty good. Wouldn?t recommend that coconut shrimp but the French dip was very good. Gave it an average rating because... the server very much had an ?idgaf? mentality and really didn?t seem to care to serve me. Eating by myself, I felt like I was anuisance for sitting at a booth versus sitting at the bar during a time when the restaurant wasn?t busy whatsoever. Read more
In lake placid for the day. Time was getting late and we needed to eat something. Found the Dack Shack and gave it a try. We... ordered the fish tacos and they were great. A bit spicy but very good. I would go back again and might tomorrow. Read more
A gem of a restaurant/bar just far enough away from the main street to feel like a local hangout. Food is amazing, everything on... their menu is a stunner with a few show stoppers scattered throughout. Generous portion size. Ordered 2 entrees and an appetizerfor 2 people and we couldn't finish any of them. Read more
Food was good. Service was undesirable. My party and I felt as if we were second class costumers, forgotten outside. We noticed... the other tables all received exceptional, superior service. Meanwhile, we received plasticware, petite plastic water cups andketchup packets. The other tables received metal silverware, large pitchers of water and ketchup bottles. Milkshakes wereoutstanding. Best burger in a box this year. Thick, juicy and delicious. Crunchy fries and exceptionally great herb mayo.
We had to order at one window and pick up at another due to COVID cutbacks in wait staff who don't want to come back to work,... but the food was great and there was plenty of outside seating areas. Nice location and good views. Inside seating is nowavailable as well. There is a pickup option as well as 'dine in.' Read more
