Portions are big and food is decent for a sports bar. But the experience was not on par. We ordered the nachos and burgers and... we got them pretty fast (5- 10 minutes for the nacho s ). Then, 5 minutes later we get the burgers. The problem here is that wedid not have time to have not even half of the nachos and burgers arrived. Well, so now I have to eat the fries cold and theburger saggy ? Because someone can not "time " it decent? I'm not expecting High end French cuisine , 30 mins pause betweendishes but at least 15 minutes you need to leave between so customers enjoy . Nachos as en entrée is a big portion ( BTW, Ithink we should have been maybe advised by the waitress that is too much food for two ) and you can not have the main dishcoming only 5-10 minutes after the entree has arrived. There is simply NO time to enjoy this. So the overall experience ismediocre. Food is ok. Service I can say is bad. Verdict : there are better options around, so unless you have nothingbetter...than I would try it for a fast food place with Nice view. Read more

I enjoyed dinner a lot. Situated at the top of town right on the lake. Prices were great. The ahi tuna salad was $19. And a... pretty large portion with a good amount of tuna. The fish and chips were also $19. Nice large piece of fish with lots ofchips. Try the dark beer called Ubu. It is made by Lake Placid brewery. You won?t leave hungry. They have three TVs. This was a nice bar at the end of town. They have an outdoor deck as well. We ordered a caesar salad, fried pickles, and ahi... tuna salad. The ahi tuna is really the only spectacular thing we got, the presentation was beautiful and the fish was sofresh! I tried fried pickles any where I go and these have to be some of the worst I have ever ordered, I couldnt even finishthem. They are cut so thin there's barely any pickle to taste, so you're just eatting bland breading. The caesar salad wasntgood, the dressing didnt seem homemade & the lettuce seemed like it wasnt washed too well. Read more
Great spot! Food is excellent and the owners have run this bar for 11 years, very constant. Great vibe, a must visit.
Cold beer, great wings and cesar salad. Oh yeah try the deep fried pickle spears. I'm usually not a fan, but these were yummy.... The atmosphere was friendly and our waiter was great. We look forward to going again! Read more
This is the second time my wife and I had dinner at this wonderful place. It overlooks Mirror Lake. We were sat outside at... sunset so beautiful. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak which was so much better than actually getting a cheesesteak in Philly. Mywife had the spring chicken sandwich which is her favorite and it was as good last night as it was the first time she had it.The only issue I had was my second beer which was a Stella and it was flat. It takes a whole lot for a one star review, and Players met the challenge. Food is fine, portions good. Standard sports bar... fare... wings, burgers, sandwiches, etc. The service, however, was ABOMINABLE. We were sat by who ended up being our server,but not before she had the chance to sit back down and surf her phone. Had to be prompted by the other server to offer usdrinks, etc. Food came, never checked on us again. Her partner wasn't much better with the covers she had. There were a totalof about 6 covers in the restaurant. Finally able to flag down our server for check and boxes, and then again to run the card.Where was the server all this time? Why at the front of the restaurant surfing her phone. Worst service we've had in a verylong time. Will not return. Read more
