Great food and fast service! Would totally recommend.
The food was okay, but the server took my order wrong. After asking about her recommendations, I ordered the chicken, but when... the food arrived, I had a plate of gnocchi. The chicken would take too long to make, so I accepted the gnocchi. The dinner wasgood, but the restaurant/server didn't do anything to make right by her mistake. The ambience is pretty, though. Lovely place, food is ok....
Great place to have an upscale meal in Lake Placid while still enjoying a casual atmosphere. Our party had the pot roast, the... scottish smoked salmon, and the potato gnocchi. They were all terrific. The pot roast especially, has a beautiful richaromatic sauce. The gnocchi is light and chewy, not heavy at all. They have a good selection of wine and craft beer. Weshared a dessert, which was underwhelming, a peanut butter cookie of some sort. (wasn't my choice, the others in my party likedit ok). Service was very attentive. Read more
